Only 2 stations from wtc. The stuff is helpful and very kind. Located next to a path station and a mall. It is not the fierst time here and not the last one..

Short distance to Path, Lightrail and the Mall, shop and offload purchases before going to Manhattan. Breakfast at Cosi's was an option.
Room a good size for 5 with a pullout. Junior Suite with 2 doubles. Quite modern room.
Have to ask for extra towels, but this was standard on the trip when you have 5.
Did not use any other facilities as we were busy.
Would consider the Doubletree again.

Great hotel that is one path stop outside manhattan. You get a hotel suite for half the price of a hotel in manhattan and it is close and cheap to get into manhattan. The rooms are big and well equipped. The staff are very helpful and friendly.

room had a nice setup as living area bordered sleeping area---I didn't have any breakfast there as the prices were typically high and there was a grocery store right behind that had anything you could need---I didn't use the housekeeping services since it was just me and they did try to clean every day, even though I told them I didn't need it---the location to the PATH is excellent, a 7 minute walk and being so close to the Newport Mall are the 2 greatest reasons to stay there---used the workout facility twice and the equipment was adequate but the large TV didn't work and the channels were limited on the elliptical---overall, I don't ask much so I was satisfied---room was clean but thermostat didn't work properly but I wasn't in the room besides sleeping and breakfast, it wasn't a concern
