The first room that was given to us my husband and I the door knob wouldn't work so we asked for another room. The next room had cigarette ashes on the phone, soda or something spilled on the night table, hairs on the bed sheet, and oil smudges on the headboard. I told management that the room looked like it hadn't been cleaned and he said that he would send someone to clean it..1 hr later a man came in with spray and a dirty rag and wiped down the night stands and headboard. Another man also came in to change the sheets and the mattress cover had a huge brown stain on it and it should have been bleached. I see another reviewer must have had the same room because that brown spot was mentioned. I asked the man while he was in the room to clean the bathroom also and he told me to tell management, which I had done in the first place and he said that first shift should have cleaned it. The only thing that was good was the price for 1 night, but I would sleep in my car next time because I felt real dirty staying there but we chose it for location. We were going on a cruise the next day. If you are looking for a place for a (quickie) and not sleep there then pay the 100.00 for the night, other than that spend another 200.00 and get a clean place to stay overnight. They have a nerve leaving a tip envelope, they would have to pay me to stay there again!!!!
The cleaning men were non English speaking and there was no Bible in the room. As other lazy people do, they pointed fingers at another shift and didn't end up cleaning the bathroom. The room also needed repairs, the TV was very dark and the bathroom sink was falling apart and was dirty. The room also smelled of cigarettes even though there was a no smoking sign on the door. This place should be shut down and just used for parking because as I said before, I would have felt better sleeping in my car.(Starlite Motel, Tonnele ave NJ)

Bad location; solitary and isolated, but clean and comfortable rooms...

This is the WORST hotel I have ever stayed at. The bed spread had cig. burns in it and smelled., the sheets were dirty, the bottom sheet actually had a blood stain on it. I wanted to take a bath but there was no stopper. No wash cloths were available, Only 6 TV stations were available that included a horrible porn movie . If you wanted a remote they charge $5.oo. The noise from the traffice was horrible along with a noisie A/C. The only thing in the room was a small microwave. The picture they have of the rooms and the extas they say they have is a joke. They should pay you to stay there .. very overpriced and not a penny.

First we were given a room that had 2 single beds. I had asked for a king, as I do like to sleep with my husband. Then they gave us a different room that was occupied by many ants. The 3rd room we finally accepted as we were quite tired and it had a king bed. Then we had to ask for a plunger as our toilet would not flush, and never did. The parking lot was being torn up for sewer work. They had had a fire the week previous to our stay and 5 rooms were all charred and tarps everywhere. No cable TV as advertised, but you do get a porn channel from the selection of 6 channels. I guess this station comes in handy should you hire 1 of the 4 prostitutes that hang out in the driveway entrance!!!! Had to ask for towels as none in the room. And then they actually leave an envelope for you to leave a tip for the maid?! Bathtub had hair in the drain, and cigarette burns all over the bathroom vanity that has a big crack in the top. Carpeting in room was filthy. Vice and/or the health dept. should close this place down!!! It is nothing but a no-tell motel. Do not stay here!!!!
