“Stay ANYwhere else!”

Let's make this easy:
1. The place is worn, and has a musty smell. It needs a total facelift.
2. Unless you stay at least four nights, there is NO housekeeping whatsoever. But you don't get any discount.
3. The room furnishings are cheap, cheesy and uncomfortable. It reminds me of interiors from the 1970s.
4. There is essentially no staff except for someone at check-in, and that is during limited hours. If you have a problem, or get locked out, or God forbid have an emergency, you are on your own.
5. The place is simply depressing and unpleasant.
6. The woman at the front desk went crazy with a highlighter, and you'd think you were buying the hotel rather than staying there for a night or 2. She required me to sign and initial 10 time for what looks like a business contract. To go through such a hassle to stay in such a seedy place, this is adding insult to injury.
7. There are much better places including a Holliday Inn and a Sheraton, within 1/4 mile. You have options! Don't stay here.

I am ASHAMED that i didn't do my homework better, and put my mom here when she visited. I am ashamed, and so should the company that runs this disgusting place.

“Absolutely Disgusting”

This was definitely the worst place to stay ever!! The hallway of the 3rd floor always smelled like GOd knows what!..there was a trash room located on the same floor as where guests stay!! Now which hotel would do that?? In one room, we found an OLD ROTTEN BANANA stuffed under the sofa...it was disgustingg...and after confronting the staff about it..they were very RUDE!

THIS IS DEFINITELY THE WORST PLACE TO STAY..

I WOULD RATHER GO SLEEP IN A CARDBOARD BOX ON THE STREETS ON NYC!

“Suite Life-Economy Style”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 April 2006

Reservations made through Hotwire $38/nite. (The 3 point rating is basically for the price that I paid.) I was worried after booking this reservation because I saw none posted. Checked in a little after 12 midnight. This is done by calling the night housekeeper on the lobby phone who promptly buzzed me in and gave me the key. The room is average with a kitchenette, fully equipped with pots pans; stovetop, refrigerator, microwave and sink. Of first concern was the cleanliness of the room. This fell short by far and was “spruced” up by applying Clorox wipes all over (as a reader of Trip Advisor I’ve become quite aware of my surroundings – the room was “clean” but to the trained eye, it was not). The biggest problem clearly seen was that someone previously spilled a cup of coffee on the telephone and this was not cleaned up.

Another area where there was some discontent was that the bed linen had hair on it. Rather than wait for housekeeping which only come once a week, I requested new sheets and advised them of the phone situation the next day when the front desk was open. There are no luxuries to the room but was standard for what we needed it for. This hotel is very quiet! My other fear was that this was some type of welfare hotel, which it wasn’t.

It sits right in the area of the Sheraton, Hilton Garden Inn and Holiday Inn of Raritan Center. A very quiet area with the exception of the cars exiting off of the Turnpike which is not a problem. It is a business area that gets quiet after the work day. All in all it was a good stay. Here are my recommendations when staying at this hotel.
1. Bring cleaning wipes – in fact all hotel may need this a little.
2. Be ready to resolve issues by going to the front desk and asking for whatever is needed. (My example was with a non-functioning light bulb, easily resolved with a new one. Also new sheets were quickly given when requested.)
3. Bring dishwashing liquid.
