nice people at the desk, room we got had pee on the toilet seat, a used soap in the bathroom, and it looked like someone kicked a hole in the wall next to the bed. one of the beds were where someone had layed on it, the air conditioner was rattling so bad and the cover just fell off of it. we got the "icks". The hotel called a cab for us to get to the izod center and the cab driver charged us 20.00 for a trip that was maybe 3 miles at best??? the shower did not drain, and all i could think of was that the tub was not cleaned properly. we checked out 3 rooms, each one was the same, just no good. i have a feeling this is a football stadium party hotel were the people just trash the rooms. i overheard down the hall another guest complaining to one of the staff. This place is gross.

We stayed at this Fairfield while attending a family wedding at the Palace in Somerset.
The staff was friendly and accommodating. The room had a strong musty smell, but was spacious in size. The bathroom actually had a spa tub. Breakfast was plain and simple. My blueberry muffin was just out of refrigerator and not very tasty. The room did have Wifi and was clean.

The front desk staff at check in where very helpful with directions and places to eat. The room was clean and smelled fresh. The free breakfast was great with a good verity of items. The pool was clean and i enjoyed the Jacuzzi. Would stay here again and recommend to others.

Bed bugs crawling out of the pillows by the dozens!!!!!!!!!!!! I never saw something like this in my life! I was aware of a serious bed bug problem in NJ so when I woke up at 2am with a slight itch in my arm (no other reaction) I decided to search my bed. This exceeded my worst fears. They were everywhere!!! I killed around 20 bed bugs in my bed, leaving bloody smears all over the bed. I saw dozens more inside the pillowcases, it was so gross!!!! Pillowcases were so thin that it was possible to see dark bugs easily through them. I alarmed my companion and she also found many bugs in her bed and pillowcases. Hotel stuff moved us immediately to another room but needless to say, I didn't close my eyes that night any more. Now, all my things that I had with me in the hotel are still in plastic bags and I am trying to bake the bugs, which could have gotten into my suitcase, on the sun. By the way, hotel informed me in an e-mail that the pest control didn't find any bed bugs in my room!!! They must have gone to a wrong room!!! When I was still at the hotel, I took couple of dead bugs with me and showed them to the manager, and ..... all this bloody mess on the beds! I wonder how the hotel can reconcile both findings. To give the manager justice, I was not charged for the night.
