this was our second time at this hotel for a business trip. upon check in, they upgraded us to the 10th floor. at this level, you need to swipe your card in the elevator to get to the 10-12th floors. they offered free breakfast on the 12th floor. the lady who ran the breakfast was very nice, and presented everything neatly, cleanly and the food and especially the fruit was very fresh. as far as our room, I thought since we were upgraded to the spg level that the room would be more special, but it wasnt. it was still very nice and clean, just like the ones on the lower floors. one thing that annoyed me was that there was not an extra roll of toilet paper in the bathroom. it's a little embarrasing calling down for toilet paper when there should have been an extra roll in the room anyway. i will definetly stay there again next year, and would recommend to others as well.

I have stayed in this hotel for over 30 times in the past 5 years. It is a good, standard Sheraton type hotel ideal if you have business in nearby area. Don't expect any extras, but the rooms are clean, have all standard Sheraton amenities, staff is polite, helpfull and attentive to guests' requests. The restaurant and bar food quality has improved after renovation, and Starbucks is also a welcomed addition.
The area is relatively close to Newark airport (EWR) ~ 15mins by car and hotel provides a shuttle to nearby NJ Transit station for a ~45min train ride to NYC Penn Station.
Overall, I would recommend a stay at this hotel - probably the best in nearby area.

We booked two room in this hotel for two nights on Dec 30th and 31st. This hotel is a lot cheaper than hotels in Manhattan and surroundings. The rooms are clean and beds very conmfortable. The lobby is spacious and has a rich feel to it. Free internet in the lobby is a big plus. Staffs at the reception were nice and helpful. WIFI and Cable Internet cost $10 per night. But considering the rooms' low cost per night. It is not a big deal. There are no restaurants on a walking distance, so you need a vehicle to go around.

Had multiple issues checking in (Key not working, room not cleaned since last guest checked out, smell of smoke in the room). Was comped lounge access for the inconvenience, which was meh at best, sub par compared to all Sheratons I have stayed at.

Also the rooms are starting to show a lot of wear, could use a refresh.
