I stayed at the Residence Inn for a longterm stay and checked out in June. I found some of the Staff to be very nice. Krystal, Scarlette, Jeanine, Desiree and Anna. I do not agree with a particular review recived saying that the management was rude and aviod the Asst Manager at all cost. I have stayed for a longer period of time than the previous guests and did not experience the inconveniences the person speaks of. I would recommend this hotel to someone needing a longterm stay. They treated my family very good and I still call and say hello every once in a while.

We booked the Residence Inn for 2 nights to attend my friend's wedding in South Jersey. The first day/night was okay. The room was clean but the bed smelled of smoke which did not make for a good night of sleep, it was a non-smoking room. The next day we requested to move our room and we were moved to a first floor non-smoking handicapped room, we are not handicapped. Anyway, the second day when we checked into the 2nd room we were only in it for minutes before we needed to leave for the wedding. Upon returning the the hotel later that night I saw a cockroach crawling around the kitchen wall! I was immediately alarmed and went straight to the front desk to let them know. The front desk woman was very nice but told me they are all booked up and have no where else to move us. I went back to the room to discuss it with my husband when i saw more! I quickly packed all our belongings and got out of there! There is nothing more filthy and disgusting to me than roaches!! I did not pay for a room that comes with roaches! I had no other choice but to drive home at 2:30am in the morning after a long tiring day! This was a most unpleasant night. I told the front desk woman that i wanted the manager to call me when she got in the next morning. The next morning, a Saturday, someone called me from the Residence Inn and told me she was in charge for the weekend but not a manager so there was nothing she could do and she doesn't believe there are roaches in the room. Why would I make that up!!!! She was very cold and rude. This place is gross and the supervisors/managers are unprofessional and do not care about their guests. Do not stay here.

We stayed at Residence Inn from March-June 2005. They are not equipped to accomodate extended-stay guests. 50% of the time they claimed they ran out of ammenities including toilet paper, shampoo, and linens. On several nights they actually ran out of food at the evening "social hour" offered Monday-Thursday. Also without notice they revoked special programs and changed meal times to accomodate their employees and "save money". For example they changed breakfast from 6a to 6:30a. This was a problem because I leave for work at 6:15a. They made no revision for those guests that this impacted. Our boxspring on our bed was torn open when we first arrived, and in the 4 months we were there, they never replaced it. Unfortunately we had no other choice but to stay at the Residence Inn while our home was being repaired after a fire. However, I will NEVER recommend this hotel no matter who's paying the bill. The managment is rude and so are the service employees. At any cost avoid the Asst. Mgr. Desiree.

We stayed at this hotel March 31-April 2nd 2005. We were in New Jersey for a swim meet. We found the accomodations to be clean and the staff was very friendly. The breakfast was sufficient, nothing to write home to mom about. I'd call it standard fare for a hotel. They did keep it well stocked.
