“Avoid The "HOTEL FROM HELL"!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 July 2010

Worst hotel stay ever. Travelling with my wife and her 85 year old mother, I chose this hotel over the Hampton Inn (1/2 the price of this hotel) because it had 2 full size beds instead of a King and a pullout. What a MISTAKE! First the room was FILTHY! The HVAC sounded like a helicopter the whole time it ran. There was a rubber band holding the hand held showerhead in place and half of the chrome trim is missing on top of it. Bed pillows are half size and very uncomfortable. Bathroom exhaust fan also sounded like a helicopter. The bath tub was cut and patched to make it a roll in shower. The whole was 12 inches above the floor. The management's response to all this mess, here's a 1,000 point gift certificate that you can use to spend another night in the same dump! Drive 100 miles further to stay in another hotel besides this whole! You were warned if you choose to stay here anyway!

“I'll never stay here again”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 July 2010

went to Great Adventure and had family gathering next day. Hotel is about 15 min from great adventure. We were supposed to stay for 2 nights but only stayed one night. Rooms must not be well insulated because 3 times front desk called during day asking us to lower our TV and stop making noise. TV was not loud and we were not making noise because during the 1st 2 times desk called kids were in pool and husband was in room alone sleeping. After 3rd time desk mentioned moving us and by this time we had enough and checked out! Desk was rude to us and could care less if we left. Hotel maid was in hall and said she didn't hear our TV or us making noise.

“Worth the money, + hot buffet breakfast, hit the spot!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 September 2009

After spending 2 nights of stench, down the road, at Days Inn, this was an appreciated final night of our stay. Breakfast, cleanliness makes up for the difference in rates. Plus you have 3 Brother's Italian restaurant (Highly Recommended), 7 -11, and a liquor store within walking distance.

And a nice room, too. The proximity to the base is a plus.

“Loved the breakfast buffet and distance from 6 Flags”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 May 2008

Memorial Day Long weekend. Stayed 1 nite, 5/25/08. Reservation included roll-away bed and found 1 in room. Room is big enough for 4 adults and 2 children. Loved the fridge and micro. Full free breakfast buffet was a ++++. Seven Eleven convinient store is right next door for quick supplies and late nite goodies. Really close (15 min.)to Six Flags Great Adventure.
Because of the hotel rural location. If you haven't used private deep well water before, you'll smell the difference. City water are chlorinated, deep well are not. You just need to use lots of soap and moisturizer after bath. Other than that, the hotel is great. Will definitely stay again.
