Just returned home from a 2 night stay at the RoseMary Inn in Knolton Township in western New Jersey. The Inn is located near the Delaware Water Gap and Interstate 80 yet far enough away that we could not tell that we were near anything urban. It is a B&B and the breakfasts were excellent. The place is decorated beautifully and my wife totally enjoyed discussing decorations with our hostess. We took a great hike on the Appalachan Trail just over the river in Pennsylvania. Each day our hotess baked cookies that were left out for our enjoyment. They also had an assortment of goodies that were available for the taking.
It was a very nice stay and we're sure to return maybe in the summer.

I stayed there this weekend with my girlfriend and we had a terrific time. The rooms were comfortable and well kept, the food was excellent and the grounds were picturesque. I highly recommend staying at the RoseMary Inn. We will be sure to go back.

I won a lot of points with family members for finding this gem nestled in the woods near the Water Gap. Eleven of us stayed here, filling up all 5 guest rooms for my father-in-law's 90th birthday celebration. It was perfect. We had use of all the common areas, selected our own music, controlled all the thermostats -- it was like home, only better! Elaine and Theo rearranged the living room furniture so we could play Pictionary, and reconfigured the dining tables so we had one nice long one. (We could have done without the table, though -- this place is so immaculate we could have eaten off the floor!) They do not serve dinner, so we brought it in, and that worked just fine. Tastefully decorated, very up-to-date and fresh feeling. Bathrooms are especially luxurious. Breakfast was top notch, although if we had one complaint it was that they fed us too much! Beach Room has great view of pond and sunset; Wheeler room on first floor is ideal for those who might have trouble with steps.

to the finest details. Spotlessly clean, yet so warm and inviting. Totally relaxing atmosphere. We stayed in the "Heiss" room. Exquisite modern bathroom specifically made for couples. Extremely comfortable bed/linens. Some of the best homemade cookies I've ever had...and
an unbelievable, served 3 course breakfast in the morning. All top notch. Thank you so much, Theo and Elaine! We are already thinking of reasons or occasions to return.
