The first night was great, we had no problems. We were a little shocked when we found out our extended stay didn't include housekeeping, coffee for the second day and
new wash towels. We left early morning to go site seeing in Philly and on the way out brought down our towels and the front desk lady said she would have housekeeping bring up new ones. We came back later that night to nothing so I had to call the lobby after hours line and go back down and get some. I also requested another packet of coffee for the morning but come to find out you only get one per stay. Everything thing else was average. Only soap bars, no shampoo or conditioner. For the price it wasn't that bad but more was expected.

The first night we arrived the hotel seem to be pretty decent until after we went to sleep at night at approximately 2am my boyfriend kept complaining of itching after the 3rd time we decided to investigate the bed we turned on the light to find the bed covered with little insects running around my boyfriend received multiple bite and suffered an allergic reaction his body was covered in welts and his head looked as if someone beat him over his head with a bat numerous times what made it worst is that he had to be the best man in his cousin's wedding later that day. My niece who is nine also sustained some bites to her arm. My boyfriend then collected some of the bugs and we brought it down to the front desk and reported it the clerk said there was nothing she could do about it and she had no other rooms available and they had no cots so me and my family which included 2 children ages 9 and 11 had to go sleep in the car until the manager arrived later that morning we had payed for 2 nights there this was only our first. So this hotel gives new meaning to goodnight don't let the bed bugs bite. ROOM 321

Read all the reviews posted and thought I'd add my two cents since I'm still staying at the ESA. IMO, they get all types at this facility. There are people who're basically living there, long-term business travelers like myself and overnighters. If you're there long-term, the staff is very friendly and helpful. For example, the digital tv switchover was a problem over this past weekend, some of the tvs had been adjusted and others not. I checked in after 8pm on a Sunday night and the desk clerk was dealing with several irate customers who'd just checked in only to find they could not view the local channels (there was a playoff game on ABC that night). My tv was fixed within an hour of my check-in so I was happy. Other guests may not have had the same experience, depending on how nice they were to the clerk. As far as cleanliness and maintenance goes, I haven't had any issues that were not quickly resolved. For the price, I would say you shouldn't expect more. It's like anything else, you get what you pay for.

This property is gross and far too seedy for my taste. It smells stale, it looks filthy and old; and the "suite" we were given looks like a cheap studio apartment some guy friends had when I was in college. I was ashamed to have booked this place.
The only nice part was that after the women at night booked my room incorrectly and overcharged me by $20, the day manager immediately credited my account and refunded the overcharge.
I'd NEVER stay here again.
