“Adorable B&B, we can't wait to come back!!!”

My girlfriend and I wanted to get away for the weekend. Most places were booked, but luckily a room had opened up at the Primrose.

It was our first time in Cape May, and we couldn't have asked for a more perfect place to stay. We loved it so much, we even made a song about it.

We stayed in the Violet room. Clean, quaint, spacious, and extremely comfortable. We had our own private patio, small living room area, great comfy couch, and a bed that we didn't want to leave.

The Primrose is a beautiful Victorian style house, with a lovely pink paint job.

Aside from our room, which was amazing, we had the chance to peek into a few other rooms where people had checked out. Whoever decorated the rooms deserves an award. Shabby chic perfection to the t.

We met Phil on our way out to the beach. He was friendly, helpful, but not in a overly pushy way. He made us feel at home, and for us to do as we please.

The Primrose isn't right on the noisey, bar filled beach front. It's a 2 minute drive or short walking distance from everything. We didn't use them, but there were bikes available. Before arriving we were nervous that we were too far from the water, this was not the case. We ended up being much happier that we weren't in the loud hustle bustle.

We've stayed at a few other bed and breakfasts in the past, but nothing like here.

We already miss the Primrose.

“Enjoyable Cape May B and B”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 July 2010

We recently made a reservation at the Primrose Inn for a B and B experience in Cape May, NJ. Our initial impression was that the Inn was too far from the beach and the center of town than we wanted - but it proved to be a quiet, relaxed time with very nice and gracious owners. Since Cape May is a walking town - we walked and enjoyed it. We could have stayed in the center of town - and paid a much higher price. Our room was clean, the bed was hard - no back pain in the morning, and the window unit A/C strong. The breakfast could be improved - but we did have eggs, potatoes, french toast, omlette, muffins, friut cup - so normal breakfast food. I would have liked H and H bagels, lox, cream cheese etc.. All in all it was a wonderfull three day stay at a B and B with a warm family atmosphere

The Primrose Inn is a great place to go hospitality, warmth, rest and leisure. I enjoyed our stay with the Cronin family. It felt like staying with family. We were treated to delicious meals and snacks everyday. The host went out of their way to make us feel welcomed and relaxed.

“Relaxing Getaway”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 October 2009

The delights of Cape May were even more delightful thanks to the friendly hospitality of Cat, Heather and Chris - our hosts at the Primrose Inn. Accommodations were clean and comfortable, breakfast was enjoyable both for the food and the lively conversation with the other guests. We can't wait to return this fall!
