my family and i decieded to take a nice trip to the shore, what a joke that was, we stayed at lake laurie campground, They had no ice, no wood for fires and no gas for the golf carts, what kind of campground is this, we asked for the manager and they were no where to be found, the road are terrible, so many holes, looked like a warzone., what a joke , next year im just going to stay in canada,

Moved to lake Laurie this year as a new seasonal. It's a great place to take your family for the season for an affordable place at the jersey shore. Corey is an exceptional staff member that made us feel welcome from the first day we checked out the place. We brought two more seasonal families in too! Thanks Corey for your great help and hospitality. I'm sure we will have at least three more seasonal families coming in next year. Please rest assure that all of the negative reviews on this site were made by weekend transients. They are the reasons for problems. It would be a wonderland to keep them out and keep the place as seasonals only!!!!

campground is a bit dated and could use some tlc overall not bad for the price we had no hot water in the showers near our campsite but water was not that cold also another shower with hot water was close by bathrooms were dated but were clean overall staff was cleaning bathrooms every half hour campground was quite not many campers around maybe reviews kept them away ? campgrond does not offer much especially in the camp store if you need anything they probably do not have it overall i woud stay again but if you are looking for a happing campgrund with some activities to do this may not be the place for you try seashore campgrond if your looking for a decent campgound thats quite but a bit dated and have an open mind to camping i would reccomend this campgrond i paid $110 for 3 nights elecric and water not bad

My family and I have been camping for years through out Jersey. Lake Laurie is one of our favorite's we go every year. I was greeted by smiling friendly staff who are always more than happy to be helpful. I normally do not write reviews however enough is enough now lets just use some common sense, if bathing in the lake was allowed and the bathrooms and the pool were sooooo BAD the state would shut them down! Also the board of health has to inspect them so how do they pass inspection if what every one is saying is true? Lake Laurie campground is not BIG rig friendly, and the campground its self needs alot of TLC, which would be used to updating the campground. If you are looking for the Taj Mahal this is not your spot, if you are looking for a camping trip than this is your spot :)
