“Cape May's Best B&B!”

I don't think the innkeeper would mind, so the best way to express how good a place this is to stay, would be to share my thank you email to Bonnie the innkeeper. If you are going to Cape May for any reason, there is no need to look any farther than the John Wesley Inn for someplace incredible to stay.

To Bonnie:
Thank you for a wonderful stay. It is really hard to say in words, what a good job you do. You have a lovely home, beautiful and comfortable rooms and your breakfasts are incredible. We may only see you once a year during Valentine’s Day weekend, but when we stay we feel like we are staying with family. It is always good to see you. Thank you for a beautiful weekend and we look forward to our next visit. Alicia and I were reflecting on our visits to Cape May the other day and about how we were so lucky to have found the “best” place to stay on our first visit many years ago. We both agreed there was no need to even consider any other options. Why mess with something that is guaranteed to be great. As long as you keep receiving guests, you can count on all of our future business.

Room Tip: Why not pay just a little more and get the most private and luxurious room in the house. The Mt. Ve...

“Valentine's Weekend”

This past weekend was our 4th time staying with Bonnie and Lance at The John Wesley Inn. It has been three Valentine's years in a row, as well as a September Roar to the Shore Rally in 2010. We love the atmosphere of the Inn, with it's vintage Victorian charm. It has been lovingly restored and maintained. Our room was spacious and private, with every amenity possible. Last year we fell in love with the new linens, so we duplicated them on out bed back home! The food was fantastic as always, with a friendly, professional staff. Bonnie recommended a wine tasting paired with chocolate at the Hawk Haven Winery for a Saturday excursion. The wine was delicious and reasonably priced. We now have a new local favorite winery within driving distance of our home. My husband and I have traveled extensively to a variety of locals, this is one of our favorites. We highly recommend a trip to Cape May NJ and a stay at The John Wesley Inn.

Room Tip: We have stayed in The Mt. Vernon and The Stockton. The Mt. Vernon is great in colder months (2 firep...

Beautiful place and would highly recommend! As a local to the Cape May County community, it was just what we needed for much R&R. Bonnie was so nice and accommodated our every need. Great location and glad we found this place! Can't wait to go back. Breakfast really added the extra special touch! Thank you for a great weekend!!

“Wonderful B & B in Cape May”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 February 2012

My husband & I enjoyed Bonnie's warm hospitality during a long weekend this January.
Her breakfasts were so delicious as well as creative and served in a beautiful dining room.
The Inn is charming and cozy and classy and very clean. Bonnie is a fascinating conversationalist also. The Inn's location is very convenient to the ocean, shops,
restaurants..............Treat yourself to a stay! Anita N.

“Fifth time staying always a pleasure”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 December 2011

This was me and my wifes fifth time staying here. We always feel welcome, and Bonnie and Lance are very knowledgeable of cape may and what is going on in and around town. My favorite room is the Stockton. We have stayed in the carriage house with our son years ago, and plan to stay this summer there again. Highly recommended.

Room Tip: My favorite room is the stockton
