This chain is the low end of extended stay hotels. The room was smallish with a kitchen space with as stove-top with two burners. Unfortunately, the whole kitchen area was filthy. The kitchen utensils promised in their advertisement was a single pan (in need of cleaning), a couple of plates, two forks, a single soup spoon and a rusty can opener and two coffee mugs plus two plastic "glasses". There is a full fridge (clean on the inside, extremely filthy on the outside) and a microwave (in need of cleaning inside and out). The greasy kitchen "exhaust" fan simply blows the air right back into the room, grease and all. The bathroom is very sparse, and did not have a shower head, only a pipe sticking out of the wall. This was fixed fairly quickly even though it was 10 PM. Housekeeping is only done once a week. Can be had more frequently at extra cost. Same goes for towels, which were of medium quality. There is a guest laundry where several machines have been out of order for a long time judging from the paper signs on them. Internet is 5 dollars for the password and is extremely slow to the point of being unusable even for simple e-mail. Front desk staff very chummy. I had to purchase cleaning suppliers (Clorox Clean-Up and lots of paper towels). Other hotels in the vicinity are similarly priced and much cleaner, but do not allow dogs.

Recent stay at the only hotel available in the area from power outages due to recent storm. After checking in went to room and found hair (all types) all over the bathroom, on the counter, on the toilet and bath, all over floor and behind the toilet. The showerhead was covered with lyme. I had to clean the toilet and tub in order to take a shower. There was only one pot in the room to cook in. It had a small kitchenette. Only 2 plates, cups, bowls were available. The flatware tray was dirty, food and dirt and hair were around and on the cook top. The coffee pot had dried on coffee which must have been sitting for at least a week as it also had mold in it, the filter holder still had a dried up coffee pouch in it. Called the desk and complained that I wanted the room cleaned. We had to get another pot and dish detergent from the desk. Called again in the am and was told he saw the note from the previous night and again asked that the room be cleaned. After returning from work the next day, the room still was not cleaned, only new towels replaced. The hair on the counter and toilet were not there, but hair was still on the floor, the cook top looked like it was cleaned slightly. I do not recommend this hotel at all.

We arrived late afternoon only to be told our prepaid Expedia reservation was not being honored. Extended Stay America in Mount Olive NJ said they were overbooked by 8 rooms. I asked to speak to a manager and they said none was available until next Tuesday.

Extended Stay America in Mount Olive NJ refused even to let us use their phone to find another hotel.

I spent 90 minutes on the phone with Expedia to find another hotel on Labor Day weekend. Expedia said hotels that overbook rent my room to someone else at a higher price. Extended Stay America in Mount Olive NJ was one of the worst hotel experiences I ever had.

if you want to stay at a place that is almost like home, this is it. This was my 5th stay here, as always the staff was friendly and courteous, they go out of their way to make your stay as pleasant as possible. The hotel has its own microwave, stove top, toaster, coffee maker, fridge and freezer. Wireless internet is available at a nominal fee as well. Television has good channels, but you're on vacation, who needs the premium channels. Air conditioning and heat work excellent too, it is the best bang for the buck as far as I'm concerned. Another thing that I find great is that although check in is 3:00 PM EST, I have always been able to check in at 9 AM EST due to red eye flight from the west coast. Overall great service.
