horrible... housekeeping wakes you up by budging through your door at 7:30 AM sharp unless you have a do not disturb sign on the door.. and when i say budging through your door, I mean it and i think they want a peep show... exactly a week after you stay there, you will discover bed bug bites appearing all over your body... these people should not be in business, and i wouldn't suggest to my worst enemy to stay at this hotel... oh and the free continental breakfast will give you bathroom problems for days..

Here is the email I sent to the Days Inn Corporate Office:
"Our vacation plans included one day visit to Philadelphia. I booked this hotel via Expedia. To look at the online pictures it was a pretty good place to stay. I recommend that this place be removed from your franchise as it is giving your organization a bad name. Look at the reviews, look at what people are saying. Our room was filthy, the shower head was all rusted, the wallpaper was peeling off the walls, the smoke alarm was hanging off the wall, there was a hole punched into the bathroom door and the ice bucket had a layer of dirt on it (very noticeable since it was white). The elevator and stairways were moldy and dirty. It was bad enough for me to want to start drinking just so that i would pass out and not have to worry about something crawling on me during the night. May I also recommend that one of your Days Inn executives spend one night at this hotel. I was highly disappointed and even more so when I spoke with Expedia and they offered no sympathy, other than to keep referring me back to Days Inn. After filing a complaint with Days Inn Care Center, I did not feel any better. The person that answered again took no ownership of the problem only to say that the place was owned by someone else not Days Inn. I guees we were SOL as soon as we drove into the parking lot. I plan on posting this review also on the website for both Expedia and Days Inn. Surely someone will pay attention and not have to go thru the same thing. This, unfortunately, was the one black spot on our vacation."

Pre paid for 2 nights but stayed for one. Staying here made me weary about hotels. For starters, People hanging outside, Pimp - doing business with his girls all night. Men in and out.. Girls hanging out on the balcony. (sad) Room was dirty, toilet overflowed and maintenance left it a mess. Nasty bed, burn holes in sheets, Window didnt lock, no number on door, no ice anywhere to be found. And its a "Dry" town.. couldn't even buy a beer! Do yourself a favor and skip this one. Couldn't bear to stay another night, would have rather slept in my car, but opted for the Sheraton in Philadelphia, which was great.

Stayed one night, 2 rooms. Multiple problems. Again, a prepaid room so you hate to walk away; rooms filthy, blood stains on bathroom walls. Fist sized hole punched in the wall. Hoodlums on balconies, I think they are weekly stay truckers. They come & go all night. Heckle the guests as they check in. They tried to open our door. They drag hotel furniture outside to balcony and 10 of them set up camp around back of hotel. Security lever inside door snapped off in both rooms; I'm a locksmith, & know these doors have been kicked in . Bedbugs in 1 room. Poor air conditioning. Family & I got no sleep. Hoodlums up laughing & shouting explicitives thru 4 AM Sat night. Grouchy old woman at breakfast bar put food away early, snapped at us. Stale French toast set out, you have to heat it by toaster. 2 of 4 toasters broken. 1 of 2 waffle makers broken. No batter. Hotel grounds poorly kept, pool was scary, I think website pics were photoshopped, so I took some of my own; look for furniture on sidewalk and water tower view of pool. Send the Bunko squad to this place, before there's a fire or shooting!
