I stayed at this Hilton during the Irene Hurricane mess on the east
coast....wonderfully clean rooms and building, friendly and "can do"
staff. The hotel seemed very well-prepared for the storm and all the
staff were accommodating with regard to the needs of guests. Business
center is very convenient 24/7 for any email/printing if you don't
feel like rolling your own laptop out. Pool is very clean, modern
fitness center. Lobby was a good hang out spot - I got to meet some
guests in the hotel in the common areas. There were also some more
secluded tables to relax and watch tv outside of your room. I'm glad
i was "stuck" there during the bad weather.
The rooms on the front of the building have a nice view of the
property and surroundings.
Ask the front desk to sign up for the Hilton rewards program - good
points and benefits for those who travel frequently.
If you ask the front desk for something - extra coffee, amenities for the room, ANYTHING - they will go out of their way to make it possible. The
girls who worked during the hurricane put in extra hours to make sure
that everyone was not only safe but as satisfied as possible. All in
all, a great visit, I'd definitely come back again!
Room Tip: all the rooms have a bed that adjusts firmness on both sides, great sleep quality. use the dial!
