“Great value for the price. Would stay there again.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 October 2011

We were in NJ for an Air Force Reserves reunion at McGuire AFB. We thought it was a very pleasant stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms and beds were very comfortable and clean. I heard no highway noise. I felt very safe there. You needed your key to get into the hallway from the outside, which I liked. The only complaint I can think of was the fact that they say on their website that they have a game room. We found out after we checked in that there is no game room, which was very disappointing to the 8 yr. old with us.
There was not a large selection at breakfast, but it was clean and comfortable. Can't complain for the price. You could get a lot more at other hotels, but you would be paying much more. Would definately stay there again.

“not what we were told”

This hotel has friendly staff (although the mgr convieniently called in sick 10 min after I'd asked for her) and comfy beds, but don't count on anything better for breakfast than what you can get at a lower priced hotel.
We were told they had hot breakfast. Sausage and french toast was expected for the next day. They didnt have it, nor did they have anything hot the next morning..only standard bagels and cereal. No one came to fill the empty coffee dispenser.
The halls are musty but the rooms seem to be renovated.
Days Inn, Comfort Inn & EconoLodge are right next door. I'm sure I could have gotten the same or better for $20 less/night.

“adequate, barely, but nice staff”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 June 2011

We stayed at this hotel with my daughter's lacrosse team. The hotel is easy to find and the desk staff was polite and welcoming. They recommended a great diner down the street. The room had a coffee-maker, hair dryer, microwave and small fridge. There was free wifi and access to a computer and printer. The free breakfast was the standard bagels, doughnuts, cereal and toast, a bit skimpy but not bad.
The downside was the room itself. The toilet leaked (clean water, luckily) onto the bathroom floor and the tub would not hold water for a bath. The bathroom fan and the air conditioner were both very loud, but at least they drowned out the highway noise. The air conditioner worked well, though. The inside bathroom door frame was rotten at the bottom and there were chips in the paint.
The outdoor pool closed at 8 p.m., a disappointment to the kids. The side doors required a key to open them, so security concerns from an earlier poster have evidently been fixed.
This was a barely adequate room. If we come back to this area for another tournament, we will stay elsewhere, even if the team stays at this hotel again.

“Pretty Bad”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 October 2010

We stayed 2 nights for a nearby lacrosse tournament. We travel a lot, and are very easy going and not picky at all. But I had to write this review as this is one of the worst hotel stays we have had. The staff were okay, but they were dealing with a difficult situation in what looks to be an old budget hotel. Our main complaints - an air conditioner in the room that didn't work during a hot July weekend. Oh, while it is an "interior corridor" hotel as advertised on the website, we were shocked to discover that these interior corridors have no air conditioning. So, we were greeted by sweltering hallways, and then a room that never cooled down below about 80 degrees over a 2 day period. When we asked for maintenance to look at the AC, we were told it would cool down, and to give it a few hours. A day later, it hadn't improved. Some others in our group had the same experience, while others reported air AC that worked too well. So perhaps our experience was not normal, but next year when we return to the area we'll be staying at the Hampton Inn across the street.
