We recently had a wonderful weekend stay at the Steal Away. Megan and Tom are the perfect hosts. Each morning at 7 fresh muffins and hot coffee were quietly left at our door. Then after a morning walk along the beach, a delicious breakfast was ready. The beach was a few steps from the house, and new beach equipment was ready for our use every day. Plus, we enjoyed an afternoon snack at the Chocolate Bar across the street. The room was large, clean and airy. We are looking forward to returning in the near future!

My husband is not a big bed & breakfast guy preferring instead a nice hotel with amenities. Steal Away changed his mind. The house is airy and open, the room was amazing! In room private bath, super soft towels and bath robes, hair dryers (no need to have brought our own!) We had our own locker that had beach towels, umbrella and chairs. But the highlight was the food. Owner Megan is a superb cook and baker (her goods are sold at her daughter's shop in NYC). The muffins and coffee at the door in the morning were an excellent way to start the day. To say the least, my husband has changed his mind- at least about Steal Away...we're going back in July!

This is a beautiful place, 4 houses from the beach. It has recently changed hands but the previous owners were gracious and charming.The rooms were lovingly and beautifully decorated. The atmosphere was casually elegant. Walking distance to the summer stock theater.A first rate stay!
