This motel is very nice for the price. It was much cheaper than others, yet very clean. The room was big enough for three people. Beds were comfortable. Room service was good too. Bathroom was a bit out of date, but kept very clean. This motel located two blocks from the ocean, within 5 minutes of walk. The owner was very friendly. We did not use the motel's swimming pool as we enjoyed the ocean.

This was one of the cheaper motels on the island... we paid $150 for wed and thu night, and $160 for friday during peak time in july. The room was clean, spacious and had a nice sized flat screen tv. Our only complaint was the bathroom did not seem as clean as the rest of the room, but it seems like it was just outdated. The sunsets on the bay just outside of our room were gorgeous and the pool was nice. The location was great... less than 2 blocks from the beach and the motel provided beach passes. There is a bar called Nardis less than a 5 minute walk away and they had great pizza and live music. There is a sandwich shop/deli right across the street... great iced coffee. The staff at Haven Beach Motel were very friendly and I would recommend this motel for both couples and families. Great value and convenient location.

Well OK, the hotel is old & has been family owned & operated since day one!! The owner's are so nice, they go out of the way to provide you with anything you ask for within reason. They keep it very clean & it has a beautiful pool overlooking the bay so the sunset's are georgous!! It's about a 2 minute walk to the ocean. If you want some place reasonable, this is it. If you want to complain about every little thing, then go to The Engleside Inn & pay double for a room that is also old & not the cleanest place. The only great thing about The Engleside is that it is located right on the ocean but you pay for that.You could also stay at The Buccaneer, which is about 1 mile south of the Haven Beach Motel, also on the bay side but expensive & definately not any cleaner. The pool there is so small for the size of the hotel & very noisy. Well no matter where you stay, just have FUN!!

A very clean, very comfortable motel with great mattresses and friendly on-site management. Super location on the bay and a short stroll to the beach.
