The Mussel Beach Club (which I never stayed at) is now The Beach Club at Pearl Street. This is an excellent place to stay in Beach Haven! This property has been completely renovated and now consists of beautifully furnished one bedroom apartments. My husband and I stayed for 2 nights in early June. The units are perfect for 1 couple or a couple with 1 or 2 children. Each unit has a kitchen/seating area, one bedroom, and a bathroom. The kitchens are beautiful-- granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, tile floors and fully equipped with all the basic needs. Each kitchen also has a small table, a sleeper sofa and TV. The bedroom has a queen bed and large dresser. Our bedroom had beautiful beach themed decor and the bathroom had beautiful tile work. Both the kitchen and bedroom had ceiling fans and the bedroom had a heating/cooling unit. There was a good size closet in the bedroom as well, so there is plenty of room for storing your stuff. The property has a laundry room and an outdoor shower for rinsing off when returning from the beach. The second floor of the property also has a small seating area with 2 tables, which overlooks the ocean. The Beach Club at Pearl Street is located less than a block from the beach and about 2 1/2 blocks from the main road, where you'll find restaurants and shops. Reservations were made by contacting the real estate agent listed on the website. She was very helpful and very pleasant to deal with. The price of these units varies throughout the season. If you want more than just a basic motel room and are willing to spend a little more, do not hesitate to stay at The Beach Club at Pearl Street. You will NOT be disappointed!
