We booked this place as a Hotwire hot deal, i.e. knowing the approximate area of booking, but not the exact hotel. So far we have had excellent experience with Hotwire and this hotel was listed as a 2 1/2 star with a sizeable majority of customers satisfied, usually a good sign.

The reality on the ground was different, though. The computer facilities are sandwiched in the glass box between two sets of sliding entrance doors. The windows were filthy. The lobby smells of popcorn as a popcorn machine is one of the features of the hotel. The lift and stairwells reek of cigarette smoke and the stairwell next to the popcorn machine is very dirty.
The two rooms we had contained the standard furniture you'd expect, but it was very well worn (see photos). The carpeting was sticky to walk on and the bedspreads felt stiff to the touch - no cleaning here please! Apart from that, the rooms were reasonably clean. In one bathroom, a ceiling tile was coming loose and looked like it would fall down (see photo). The hotel did not react to our urgent maintenance request during our two-night stay.
Breakfast is not worth writing home about, but there is a Panera's down the road.
Restaurants in the area were not particularly exciting.
In short: avoid unless you have to go here for business, this is at the very most a one star and is ridiculously overpriced.

The hotel and Hotwire were given an opportunity to comment. The hotel did not bother reacting and Hotwire vigorously defended their rating and then said they could not view the pictures due to their firewall asking for a paper copy. Yeah right.

I don't know where to begin. When we checked in, the guy at the desk said that he showed no record of us having paid for the room in advance (which we had). He also said they have a really great breakfast at this hotel. HUH???. This leads me to wonder where he has eaten breakfast before. To say the breakfast was pathetic would be an understatement. First of all, the trash cans were overflowing, with trash on the floor. The selection was pathetic. I'll stop now before I make myself ill. As for the room, we had a giant spotlight outside our window. Even with the drapes closed, the light lit up the entire room. Sleeping would have been impossible had we not thrown the bedspread over the curtain rod to try to block out the searchlight outside. The next morning the girl at the desk said the guy must have been crazy because she said it clearly showed we had paid in advance. I wish she would have been there when we checked in so we wouldn't have had to worry about it all night. Anyway, I know the hotel options are limited in this area, but you really might want to stay elsewhere!

The room flet very damp musty. The room was not in good shape. The breakfast was poorly staffed. Overall, just a 2 star hotel.

The hotel is your average 2 or 3 star hotel with standard rooms and complimentary breakfast in the morning. The room seemed clean but it had an awful musty odor to it which we continued to smell throughout the night. Luckily we were leaving at 5:30 am for surgery at DHMC. I guess the place served it's purpose.
