Checked into hotel and a facecloth in the bathroom had been "used" already. Toilet clogged up easily.

If you're looking for reasonably priced lodging halfway between Boston and Manchester, NH, you won't regret the decision to stay here. It's literally feet from Interstate 93 but there is no noise from the highway whatsoever. The rooms are clean, comfortable and reasonably priced. I would stay again.

First time using a Red Roof, but it was a good experience. Room was clean and quiet; Two twin's beds were comfortables and we stay only one night...so it's good to sleep ! Wi-Fi available in the room. Free parking. We had no problems ... so it was a good experience in this hotel Red Roof Inn Salem !

I too believed in what others wrote about this hotel and was completely agast upon arrival to an older hotel in need of updating. We arrived after driving 7 hours, at 1130 pm, only to find dried bodily fluid on the bedspread. Not sure what type it was, but whatever way you slice it - DISGUSTING! The girl on desk that night came out to investigate, chipped at it it her fingernail, and gave me fresh sheets (I used them instead of bedspread)....In the morning at checkout, the manager had already been made aware of this and offered to refund money or give me a gift card for a free stay at another Red Roof...I opted for the Red Roof card - they all cant be bad, right? She said she would mail it and it has been a week. This hotel would be great if you are in town to fish, go to Nascar races, or a concert - there was a 'party' aura coming from the upstairs - people hanging out on the outdoor walkways with their dogs, coolers, and snacks....I just wasnt in the mood to find a dirty room after the ride. I didnt even take a shower there and neither did my 13 yr old son!
