We stayed in room 19 with our son & dog & it was perfect for us. Nice whirlpool tub, queen bed, pull-out chair, and a refrigerator. The room was not new but was very comfortable - I normally sleep on a tempurpedic mattress & found that the bed was very comfortable at the Cranmore Mtn. Lodge. The breakfast was cooked to order & delicious, and the owners/staff of the lodge were lovely. Nice hiking trails right out the back door and very close to Cranmore mtn and downtown North Conway. We would definately stay again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay at the Cranmore Mountain Lodge. We stayed in Room 7, the "JFK Room", which was nice and bright, with an en suite bathroom and a view of the pool area. One of the main selling points for us in deciding to stay here was the included breakfast, which was delicious and a great way to start our mornings in North Conway. The owners were very friendly, and it was refreshing to know that they cared about their business and it reminded us of how important it is to support local businesses like this one (as opposed to staying in a hotel chain). Highly recommended!

The best Halloween weekend ever! My sons and I visited and took part in the Ghost & Goblin Tour. We had a wonderful time. The staff was very helpful in providing directions and instructions to make our Goblin Tour easy.
The three of us have stayed at Cranmore Lodge many times. We feel like we are staying with family. The rooms are clean and well appointed. We always enjoy relaxing in the fireplace room. The breakfasts are great. Freddie makes the best french toast.
The Lodge is very "green" and participates in many environmentally friendly programs. An added bonus for our family.
If you want the coziness of home and high quality food and service, Cranmore Mountain Lodge should be on your short list.

Despite a very polite staff, nothing to complain about it, the Lodge needs a lot of improvement: a shower that's barely working, a bed who's noisy every time someone turns in his sleep, to much heat in the room and dust in the corner of the room.
I would have like to give more stars to my review, because the staff is friendly, but sometimes friendliness just isn't enough. I slept with my window open because of the heat, I woke up few times per night because of the noise of the bed, and in the shower the water was barely flowing. And not to mention the dust that was accumulating in one corner of the room.
It's such a pity to write a poor review, because the location is great, close to everything. The Lodge has great potential, but for now, October 2011, it's still very much to be done. I hope the owners will get the message to do the right adjustments.
