We enjoyed a large, comfortably furnished room at the 1785 Inn that shared one of the inn's best features: the amazing view out back towards the White Mountains. The food, both dinner and breakfast, were outstanding, and we enjoyed the fact that the inn had a much more international clientele than the average US lodging. All in all, I'd say it was worth the price, especially given the convenience of having a cozy bar and fine restaurant downstairs. The staff were also exceptionally friendly.
