My wife I stayed at the White Mountain Hotel after a day of skiing at Attitash. We checked into the hotel at night and our first impression was that it felt cozy and has some classic New England charm. The lobby was nice with a big fireplace, but rugs and wallpaper were a little dated (no big deal). Our room was definitely clean with everything we needed (including Aveda shampoo and soaps). We decided to check out the outdoor heated pool and hot tub which was a real treat. There were a few Adirondack chairs by the pool and small portable fireplace with a fire going. It's a great area to unwind and relax. We decided to check out the hotel bar and had dinner there. They had a great mixed drink menu with drinks ranging from $8-$12. I think beers may have been around $6. The dinner menu had a good variety of choices at different price levels - $10-$28 (or so) for dinners. They had al live pianist which was nice touch too. The staff was very friendly and personable. It seemed like they had a lot of repeat guests who were talking with the wait staff and bartenders. I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to friends.

“5 Star Hotel”

This is a 5 star hotel from the moment you walk in. Extremely attentative staff. Close to all attractions. Restaurant is 5 star as well. It was nice to have a restaurant that you wanted to go back to right on premise. Wait staff the most professional I have encountered. We were so impressed with hotel that we made reservations to go back.

What a great view from our room. The extra few dollars for the mountain side view was well worth it. The restaurant has an incredible view too.

“Wedding wows”

This was the perfect venue for wedding festivities that we attended over the holidays.
The food was good, the service friendly and the scenery spectacular.
Also, the room was a great value, especially for that time of year.

“A Dream Come True Wedding”

We chose the White Mountain Hotel for our daughter's 12/30 wedding, then stayed for the New Year's festivities. From the moment we arrived, the staff created a dream-come-true event for our family. The rooms, food, service, little touches, flexibility, assistance with planning/set-up etc meant that we could leave all the details up to the events manager (Dennis) and the staff, knowing the results would be excellent. The outcome far exceeded our expectations and the bride and groom were ecstatic. Our family and friends also raved about their experience from arrival to departure. The holiday decor and beautiful mountain views make it a breathtaking venue. For the past year, Dennis and his staff worked diligently to provide top notch service with humor and a calming effect. Management is particularly accomodating. For this reason, the bride was not stressed and repeatedly said they made the wedding preparations so easy. Staying for the New Year's Eve party was the "icing on the cake", complete with great food and music. The hotel staff go above and beyond anything I've ever experienced in customer service at other hotels/restaurants. They are attentive and dedicated workers. This hotel is a unique and beautiful property where we'll return for years to come. Our family is grateful for the wonderful memories they created.
