We had another great girl's weekend at Wentworth by the Sea. There were four of us (the same four as last year) and it was wonderful. We all had spa treatment and had a great lunch at Wentworth and for dinner went into Portsmith. Mary Cleary who works at the hotel gave us a ride
into town. She was a delight. Everyone was so nice.

Had a great facial by Erica and a great salt scrub and massage by Scott.

Our rooms were so comfortable and those beds are the best. This will be is an annual
trip for us.

My husband and I stayed here on our wedding night. We only stayed 1 night, because we flew out to our honeymoon. I wish we could have stayed longer. The room was large and spacious. The bathroom was huge and had heated tiles! The bed was super cOmfortable too!

I took my mother to Wentworth for her 70th using the "spa package", and we had a delightful time. The ladies at the spa were cheerful and professional. The lockers were impeccably clean, nicely decorated and spacious. We stayed in a corner room and were given a panoramic view of the bay. The room was perfect and the warm bathroom floor was a treat! We enjoyed a cocktail in the bar in front of the fireplace - alas no piano music, but still a great ambiance. We only wish it were a little warmer - we would have loved to have sat on one of their grand porches in the sun while enjoying our books. Breakfast was beyond expectations - service was perfect, food scrumptious, and the sun lit room was cozy. Next time I'll bring the hubby.

I don't know why but it reminds me of the Dirty Dancing resort in the Catskills. It's old school-ish but very modern. Fantastic staff. Get a room with an ocean view. They accept pets. Service was great and so accommodating.

The location is great too because there are cute little towns that are within driving distance that are classic Maine.

Will be back again this year, in the fall. I love going off season because it's more intimate/less crowded.
