“Comfort AND entertainment!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 October 2011

Nice property, clean rooms, good beds, decent amenities, full fitness center, above average continental breakfast starting at 6AM and... what is that GODAWFUL smell?! Well, it's incense, the owners are Indian, and tonight they almost burned the place down with it. Fire department just left. Good times, see the pic.

So really, you get a decent hotel room, and the adrenaline rush of not knowing if you're going to wake up in the morning. What more could you ask for? I'd seriously stay here again anyway, even if the incense odor in the halls is beyond stinkbomb horrible when it's burning. Hey, at least it's cheap.

Room Tip: Far away from the lobby and the smell of burning elephant dung in the back room.

“Bad Customer Service”

Never stay there and never will! Customer Service - Horrible!! I called to make a reservation and made it with a woman named Nicky with an Indian accent. She booked a room quickly and didn't take the usual info but got my credit card number and name. When I found out our condo would be available, I called back to cancel my reservation. There was no answer for a long time so I called back later in the day. Then I spoke with a different woman and told her I needed to cancel the reservation. She informed me that there was NO reservation in my name and no confirmation number to match the one I had!! I knew that was odd and was afraid they were going to charge my credit card. They did - for the full amount!! When I called them to try to straighten it out, I was met with very unprofessional service from the same woman to apparently took the reservation and had to call the corporate office! Manager still has not called me back. I think they are running a scam over there. Don't waste your time STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE!

“Extremely Disappointed”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 August 2011

I arrived on a Saturday night, and it was almost impossible to find the hotel from the road (in fact, one of the other guests or employees cut me off as I was trying to find it, which ticked off this tired driver). Check-in was thankfully quick, and I went to my room, which turned out to be right in front of the parking lot (since the curtains were open, an elderly couple got a good look into my room as I was unpacking since they parked right in front of the window).
The room itself was a little run-down - stained carpet, scratched furniture, and a bedspread from the mid-70's. And I know that we're in the computer age now, but a phone book would have been nice.
A few things kept me from getting a good night's sleep: there was some sort of noise in the room that turned out to be the mini-fridge's cooling system (the fridge is a plus, but the noise was not). I was also on the first floor and, due to poor sound absorption, I had to listen to the upstairs guest clomp around until 1AM. Finally, I assumed that the hotel was no-smoking, but the smell of smoke in the room was so pervasive that it was nauseating. I suppose that if I had noseplugs and earplugs, it would have been a fine night's sleep. However, I was so uncomfortable that I was ready to leave the hotel. Granted, I could have complained to the front desk but, at that point, I think it would have done more harm than good.
I did enjoy a shower and their complimentary breakfast the next day (which was the usual fare of scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, fruit, etc.) which was quite good. I did have to wait at the desk to check-out because it appeared that the clerk was doing double-duty keeping the food stocked (I felt kind of bad).
I know that one shouldn't expect four-star lodgings at the Comfort Inn, but this location fell far below even their standards, which, as I mentioned in the title, was extremely disappointing.

“Back door still open & Inexperience front desk personal”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 June 2011

Front deskpersonal gave us a room with 1 bed, we had 3 people in the party. We used our points to get this room. We had reserved 2 beds in the room. Thank goodness we had our printout of the reservation. They said they could not comp a room with two beds. I told them that we just stayed at another comfort inn the night before and they not onlt gave us a nicer comp room it was on the first floor. They were going to give us a roll away bed! The back entrance door was open with something holding it open. I closed the door up on the second floor. I got no ironing board. The refridge was small.
I will not stay here again.
