From Neil's welcome greeting to the shuttle driver's great attitude when he dropped me at the airport, I felt there was a sincere interest in my enjoyment of the stay. The hotel was clean, the internet worked, the wake up call was on time and shuttle prompt. They were nice enough to have an Otis Spunkmeyer muffin, fresh fruit and coffee out at 4:15 am to take with me on my ride to the airport. I did get a chance to see the large indoor pool and well lit fitness center - both seemed pretty nice.

Called in advance to make sure I could actually get a room because im 18, and in New York I have no problem. Man at the front desk said yes, they wouldn't question it as long as it was done online through expedia. So i went online PAID and drove to the hotel. When I got there the SAME man from the phone wouldn't give me my room. The girl next to him was rolling her eyes at me. Then they said they would cancel my room, but I was already charged i wasn't going to leave. I asked for the mangers number the girl gives me a card i call it and it's the man at the front desk who im standing in front of! so i ask for his real number and she said he cant he's in a meeting. So i told her i would wait in the lobby for his meeting to be over. Once i said that they were very quick to give me my room key. Did i forget to mention in my expedia i requested a LATE check out. as i only needed one night but i needed the room i had a important meeting. 8 am the maid comes barginging in my room. While im asleep. Tells me check out is at 11. I was so upset she had just walked in i didnt even respond. Then about 8:30 i started getting phone calls from the front desk. after the 3rd time of the maid barging in my room. i go out to remind them i have late check out i had the reciept and eveything. and they said they would charge for 2 nights if i didnt leave by 11.TERRIBLE PLACE. I never complain, i work in retail i understand rude costumers, but honestly they way they treated me was awful. and i will be making calls to managment.

I stayed at this hotel on the night of 1/25/12 on the second floor. After tossing around unable to sleep for awhile, I begin to itch a little. The intensity of the itches increased to the point I could no longer ignore them, so I turned on the bed side lamp. On my arm I found three welts, and on my chest I found one large welt. I then lifted up my pillow to find a live bed bug running across my sheets.

I killed the bed bug, and took a picture of it which is displayed as my profile picture. I called the front desk to tell them that I was just eaten up and found a bed bug in my room. The woman told me that she could transfer me to another room. I told her that at that point, there was no way I would be able to fall back to sleep. I then went down to the front desk and talked to the same woman and showed her the evidence of my welts and the picture of the bed bug. Her response was, "strange, we usually only get bed bugs on the 1st floor." I was shocked at that reply.

Per bed bug infestation recommendations, I left all my belongings behind, along with my contact information for the hotel manager. Not once did I receive an apology from him/her for the experience I had at their hotel. I received one e-mail saying they had laundered my items, and that I could pick them up. Living in Minnesota, this was not feasible, so they shipped my items to me later.

Motel is everything you would expect with a Comfort Inn. My complaint is with the Park and Ride!
Going to the airport was great ..van was ready to go at 5 AM. The return was not fun at all. We arrived early and after picking up baggage (10:30 PM) .. called the motel for a ride...was told that the shuttle was on its way... great...we waited (freezing cold wind blowing thru pick area) ... and waited ... 20 minutes later called motel .... and called ... and called.. no answer!!!! Finally they managed to answer the phone ... they said the shuttled had already been there ...we were in the right place? .... YES WE WERE !!!! It took and hour and finally got back to our car!!

There are other choices for Park in Ride motels in Manchester...which we will try next time!
