Our purpose for coming to Lincoln was to see the changing of the leaves and we wanted to stay in serviced apartments. We opted for one that was managed by the property manager, rather than a private manager - there had been comments about challenges getting help when issues arose, but we didn't experience any issues.
Our 2 bedroom apartment (number 127) was on the ground floor - there are elevators to the second floor - and was best described as "pink" and "flowery" based on the decor. There were lots of reminders that you are staying in someone else's property (teddy bears, fake flowers and Peanuts artwork in the bathroom).
That being said, it is comfortable and well-equiped - although neither en suite exhaust fan seemed to work and they could both do with an overhaul. The kitchen had everything we needed, both bedrooms had TVs plus there was one in the lounge room.
The property has laundry facilities and free parking but no onsite restaurant. That being said, I cannot recommend The Common Man Restaurant highly enough.
I would certainly consider staying here again if I came back in the future, but that would be with a slightly more realistic set of expectations (i.e. the pink wouldn't be such a shock!)

Great place to stay with families. We stayed during the winter and went to the different ski areas. The accommodations were great no issues. Place was very clean and had plenty of room for our family. We had a great time at the pool which was awesome because we were there when it was snowing and went to the outside heated pool. Love it and would recommended it for anyone who is looking for a good time. Affordable!

If you want condominum type accommodations in the White Mountains, I highly recommend the Nordic Inn. We have stayed at this resort with our children several times, and just recently we stayed with another couple.

The rooms at the Nordic Inn are kept extremely clean and well-supplied. Although I rarely cook while on vacation, it would be easy to do so with the equipment available to me in the room (full microwave, stovetop, oven, and dishwasher). We enjoy the full refrigerator to hold snacks, fruits, and drinks, or leftovers from our evening meal. The furniture is comfortable and the beds are in good condition. Our room had a beautiful flat screen television with a dual DVD/VHS player. There were even a few board games in the room for our use.

I also like the choices available to me through the Nordic Inn. On their web site you can book rooms based on the front or back side of the building, the number of bedrooms, and the view from the balcony. For the most part, my husband and I have stayed in the two bedroom units facing the main road in Lincoln. These rooms have a balcony and the best view of the mountains (in my opinion!).

The management there is friendly and helpful. There are two swimming pools and two jacuzzies (indoor and outdoor), two pool tables, a ping pong table, some assorted video games, and a nicely equipped exercise and weight room.

For a "vacation home away from home", the Nordic Inn is a great place to stay!

NEVER AGAIN
I made a reservation via the 800 number. When we arrived we did not have a room even close to what we made the reservation for. One of the office employees told me it was my fault and made no gesture to apologize. In addition, when I was checking us in, another couple was remarking that they had just made their reservation that morning, yet the attendant said they had no record of it. Both of these situations made me feel suspicious. So reservation confirmation, follow through, all points of the process via any means (apparently) is unreliable. The male office staff did not represent the motel as an establishment that wants to have consistent cliental or recommendations from those who stay with them. We will never stay, or refer, this lodging accommodation, again.
