“Go somewhere else.”

While the staff were all very pleasant, upon arriving to our room, there was trash on the floor, under the bed, a light bulb out and a empty beer bottle in our shower. There were burn holes on our blankets, stains on the mattress box spring, and you can break into the rooms by sliding the do not disturb sign ( joke by a friend who didn't think it would work ). If you think this is bad, we came back from being out all day, go in the bathroom and found a live cockroach under our soap. We bagged the roach up and brought it down to the front desk and the lady who opened the bag to find a live cockroach, wasn't in the least bit surprised. The next morning, after check out the manager accused us of bringing cockroach in to try and get a free night. Right. Because that's what I do in my spare time, look for cockroaches and bag em up and put them in hotel rooms. We paid $115 a night for this awesome experience. If I wanted to sleep with bugs, I'd go camping, which I will probably do next time. No wonder this hotel was the only one with availability in the area. Although we were comped one night out of two, I would NOT recommend staying here.

Room Tip: Pick another hotel.

“Convenient & Friendly!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 November 2011

We arrived late Sunday night, after driving from NYC and were greeted with a pleasant welcome. The woman at the desk was very nice and helpful, offering us extra pillows & blankets if needed. The room was clean & fresh with lots of room and other than a softer mattress than we're used to, the king size bed was a pretty cool to sleep in.
For the purpose of the trip, The Landmark Inn was great!

“Needs Attention to Customer Service!”

We dropped in on a Saturday night for a one night reservation. The poor woman at the desk was overwhelmed with both walk-in reservations and last minute phone calls. Being the third party in line, it took us over 35 minutes to check in. After the check in and arriving at the room, we found two of the three light bulbs burnt out in the lamps. The beds were comfortable, but we would never stay here again until they change their check in service with additional help. And, I'm sure the ten plus people behind me checking in feel the same.

“Very nice place !”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 October 2011

I am picky about my hotels when I stay somewhere, and I found The Landmark Inn to be a very nice hotel. The room was exceptionally clean. The bathroom was clean, plenty of towels, soap, shampoo. The air conditioning worked great. The windows even opened so you could get a breeze. I had an upper floor room and there was a wonderful view of the water below. The room was also very quiet.

Reception was very nice and the breakfast was pretty good in the morning, too.

The hotel has a game room (It was pretty cool!), and vending/ice on a couple of the floors. My only complaints would be the TV was really old and had a bad picture (it was clear, but the color was bad). The bathroom also had great water pressure it seemed, but the shower head was clogged and probably needs to be replaced.

I definitely recommend you stay here.

Room Tip: You have a nice view if you're on the upper floor rooms.

“Nice hotel for a great price”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 September 2011

We booked a one-night stay at this hotel while in town for a wedding and it was completely fine. We had a nice place to stay and we saved a ton of $$ compared to other area hotels and inns. It was very basic, but it had all the amenities we were looking for and a simple continental breakfast included in the price, which saved us even more money.
We would definitely go back for another stay if we ever happen to be in this area again.
I'd recommend to anyone.
