Very quite room, excellant staff, Pool, HotTube and pool were A+. Breakfast could have been better for the price. Internet was not avaiable in the lodge across from the main building. The big plus was I left the charger to my tablet in the room and they shipped it to me within 4 days!

We spent 2 nights over New Year's weekend and had a great time! Our room was clean, but in need of updating, however, our room had a great view of the lake; the staff was extremely efficient, and helpful (they even moved us to a quieter area of the dining room due to a large, loud party). Our meal was excellent, and we had a great time dancing to the band (which was very good), and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. We will definitely be back in the spring/summer! The New Year's Eve package was well worth the money!

My husband and I traveled to The Margate from Ct for our 5th wedding anniversary (Dec. 31st). The room was a little tired , in need of an update, but very clean. Over priced for off-season. The New Years party was fun but not very well thought out, guests finishing dinner were unsure where to go. Back to the room or into the bar for the party, an itinerary of the weekends events and times would have been useful.
On the upside the staff was extremely polite,friendly and helpful.

My girlfriend and i arrived at the margate for the first time to celebrate New Years. We took part in the New year's eve special. After reading some of the negative reviews we really did't know what to expect. The whole night was fantastic from the dinner to the entertainment the room and a special thank you to the staff. We really enjoyed the stay and would recommend this to everyone.
