“Gem in southern New Hampshire”

We happened on the Prescott Inn while looking for somewhere to stay in the Jaffrey area. We have stayed at B&Bs throughout the US and Canada, and the Prescott Inn ranks with the best of them. Our room, Elder Eldad, featured a king size bed (which was extremely comfortable) and the smallest bathroom I've encountered anywhere (the only negative of the place). Breakfast was delicious and Charlie, the host, provided us good information on things to do in the area. We will be staying at the Prescott Inn every time we are in Jaffrey which should be quite often as we have family in the area, but since the Inn has a number of rooms, we will try to find one with a larger bathroom.

“Give it a try”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 October 2011

This inn was very clean, very quiet, very safe ... although needs a little updating. I can truthfully say that the breakfast was absolutely the best and also Charlie gave us great tips on dining for dinner - wonderful man. Here comes the but....the inn was incredibly clean but the lite blue carpet in the bathroom and the window blind need to go! Over all it just needs a little step up in updating but I would certainly stay there again and would gladly tell a friend about this place.

“Wonderful! Relaxing, Pleasant Retreat!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 August 2011

Our stay at the Benjamin P. B&B was perfect! We had a lovely room, spacious, comfortable bed, good lighting, quiet location, lovely views of the farm. The Inn sits next to a country lane which is great for walking. Charlie, our host, was interesting, informative, and a great cook! Breakfast each morning was a real treat. We toured the countryside, hiked Mt. Monadnock, had lunch in Keene one day, Peterborough the next. I can't wait to return for a relaxing get away in a beautiful, unspoiled corner of New Hampshire.

“A sweet getaway from craziness of the real world”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 April 2010

I went with a few of my girlfriends. We decided to hike Mount Manadnock and found this cute B&B nearby. The innkeepers were so nice and when we arrived, other guest had not yet arrived so we got a chance to see most of the rooms. We stayed in the large suite on the top floor which was awesome. A nice view of the large farm out back and more room than we needed. All of the rooms were unique and had lots of nicknacks to look at. Breakfast in the morning was just perfect...eggs in a basked, peach cobbler, tea, coffee. Just right! This inn is very peaceful and I felt like I had stepped back in time a bit. Although we had a TV in our room, we didn't even watch and instead enjoyed the fireplace in the livingroom for a while and enjoyed a nice relaxing night before our hike the next day. Be sure to check out the Cathedral of the Pines nearby too. Great place!

“The Inn is in such a peaceful location.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 March 2010

Sitting in the yard is such a quiet experience the scenery is like something out of a romantic movie....the rooms reflect that romance. Sue and Charlie Lyle are very accommodating, and made me feel very welcomed. I stayed in "Nabby's Nook" and found the everything to be comfortable and clean. Breakfast the next morning was absolutely Delicious and plentiful. I wish I could have stayed longer, and look forward to visiting again this summer.
