I recently vacationed to hampton beach with a few friends and made reservations here. My friend had stayed here before with her family many times in the past, but it was under different owners. The new owners guided me to the office, after we found them in their room, and had us check in. May I add that the male owner had holes all over his shirt and the woman was trashy. Later that night I went to shut the curtains and the entire thing fell down! Another thing that broke was the bed as soon as I sat on it to go to sleep(and keep in mind I'm a 120lb girl.) Thank goodness that was the only thing wrong with the bed. Our neighbors, however, were not as lucky. Their bed was infested with BED BUGS and the owner wasn't even going to give a refund to them until the man threatened to call the health department on them. Our bathroom door also had "F*** you Phil" written on it. And talk about lousy service, the owners were never to be found, only provided one roll of toilet paper for our two-night stay, and didn't even make the bed or provide fresh towels in the morning.

I wouldn't wish this place on my worst enemy! NEVER STAY HERE!

Stay away from this place!!!!! When we got there we realized right away that the place was dirty!!!! But we never thought about bringing back home some bed bugs! We were 12 persons and all got some!!!!!!! It's NASTY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And I'm not talking about the rest... But just to give you an idea: No lights in the bathroom, pillow cases with some white spots on, nasty stench, one mini soap for 4 days.... Yes the place is cheap... But an exterminator to kill the bed bugs in your house that's really expensive!!!!

i was driving along by the beach when a came upon the Emerald Isle Motel. I pulled into inquire about the price's and weather they accepted pet's. As i was walking into the office i came upon a gentleman outside cleaning the parking lot. He came over and asked if he could help me with something. I had asked him if they accepted pet's and he said yes and then i asked he how much it was for the night. This was the first motel that i had stopped at that took pet's and had very good price's. So i stayed in room 28 i walked in the room and it was clean but alittle out dated. You could tell the motel is old and nothing had been done in awhile to the place as far as up dates but that was ok with me. Later on after i emptied my car i walked my dog and the gentleman was still outside with a young lady cleaning the outside and they came over to ask if everything was ok. I proceeded to talk to them and told them how i saw the room an they proceeded to tell me they had just taken over the motel at the end of July and they know there's alot of work to be done. They even took me over to one of the room's that they had started remolding and painting. I have read the review's that some have written as far as the room's go the one's i had seen were clean and the lady who clean's their room's is very good and as a bussiness owner myself an knowing how hard it is to start off I give them credit for taken on such a project. The people there are very pet friendly and very family orientated they make you feel like family and i would recommand this motel to all my family and friend's. June and Will I can't wait to see you guy's next year to see how the progress is coming on the room's.

This motel should be condemmed and leveled. It would make a nice ball field or anything else. It is awful! If you do not believe me...then ask to see the room that you will be staying in before making payment or giving them your credit card number. THEY WILL NOT REFUND YOUR MONEY!!! If you are coming in from out of town and they insist on getting a deposit or your card number....DON'T DO IT! This is good advice for any independently owned motel/hotel. Check out the room that YOU will be staying in before paying them. Good businesses will honor this request.
