I could not think of a more comfortable and gracious place to ride out the winter snows of NH! Warm, soft beds, an inviting living room complete with fire and sherry, and a delicious, eye- appealing breakfast awaiting us each morning (warm pear dishes, tantalizing scones, hearty egg treats). The innkeepers, Nancy and Al, were gracious and charming, making great dinner suggestions and interesting conversation. We ended up staying an additional night due to weather, and although our hosts had other plans, they made our extended stay possible and delightful. This is definitely a place we will return to, and hopefully the weather will cooperate so we can enjoy the surrounding gardens and historic attractions. Thank you so much, Nancy and Al!

I'm very picky about hotels and B&B's and this one takes the top spot on my list. Great breakfasts, nice rooms, clean, and great owners. I felt like I hadn't left home they make you feel so comfortable. One warning, they do have two high energy dogs. They are sweethearts, but not everyone loves dogs.

Like all other reviewers, I have to say this B&B is a class act. Great value for the money that includes fabulous accomodations, food, and ambiance- thanks to Al and Nancy (plus their well behaved adorable dogs Ben and Willy). Also nicely located close to local attractions and restaurants.

Shaker Hill Bed & Breakfast was a nice experience. AL & Nancy were pleasant and professional. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was also a nice treat with a main entree, fruit, scones and good coffee. The home-made Blueberry French Toasts were about the best we've have had in years. We also enjoyed
the two dogs as they were friendly and loved our attention. We would certainly to stay at Shaker Hill Bed & Breakfast again. Thank you Al & Nancy for your hospitality.
