I meant to write this review a long time ago. After hurricane Irene came through New Hampshire, we found ourselves without power. After 72 hours and still no power, the novelty of candles and staring at each other wore off fast. It was time to get a hot shower! I know the Microtel chain very well, and knew there was one in Dover, NH! I called to see if they had rooms available and power....YES! they did! The staff at this hotel are fantastic. Very polite and accommodating, Although, we did not have the complimentary waffles, the lobby smelled great in the morning. The rooms are very clean and the decor European. Traffic noise was not noticeable, but some of the housekeeping staff and guests let their room doors slam closed. That was the only negative aspect of our stay. All linens and towels were new and clean. A very fresh hotel overall. I am now a great fan of Microtel.....you will be surprised by the interior and the designs of the rooms. Not a big fan of the chain name, but any chain run by Wyndham, is generally good. Oh... and there is a Starbucks and plenty of restaurants within walking distance. So, after two nights and power back at our house, it was time to check out and thank the staff. Keep up the good work folks, we will absolutely recommend this very well run hotel. Cheers!
Room Tip: Request a room facing the parking lot.

Thank you for taking the time to tell us about your stay! I am so glad you enjoyed your stay with us. I also appreciate you bringing the door slamming to my attention. We made a point of discussing it in a recent staff meeting. It's people like you who help us make our hotel the best it can be! Hopefully, if you have friends or family visit you will think of us again! :)
