“We stayed at this marriott for a class...”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 August 2010

We stayed at this marriott for a class reunion weekend. Being a rewards member I decided to for go the special room rate to receive more points toward a future stay. I booked a King Suite for myself and spouse and it was a great choice. From the easy online booking to everyone I dealt with on the phone and in person it was a smooth transaction and a great stay.

The room was very clean and fresh. Living room was nice with furniture in good shape. Loved the outside balcony overlooking I93. Absolutely no road noise as the hotel does not sit on the interstate though it is in a commercial area don't let that stop you from staying. This is Concord NH not Newark NJ. Nice wet bar area with sink, large counter, microwave, fridge, and cabinets under.

Bath area was above average though I found tub floor very slippery. Sink area was outside bath with great lighting. Very adequate mirror space including closet doors.

Bedroom was lovely though furniture a bit beat up. Bed was the normal excellent quality Marriott bed with very nice bedding. AC and TV in both rooms.

Easy and free internet service was a bonus. Didn't try restaurant or room service but food for banquet was good. Staff exceptional including housekeeping. Julie at front desk had a welcoming attitude and I believe I dealt with Amy on phone when I had a question who was also very nice.

Would stay again if I'm in the area. Having grown up here they go above and beyond what I expected. Good location to stop at if your visiting NH not just Concord area due to proximity to I93.

“Good location but don't expect a view”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 August 2010

We stayed here two nights to do some sightseeing in the area. The hotel is well located to downtown Concord and the surrounding area but there is nothing around it directly. You cannot walk to any attractions or restaurants.

The staff were very helpful and gave us a printout with restaurants and directions. There is an indoor pool and hot tub which my son enjoyed. We had the breakfast buffet both mornings as it was included with our rate. It was fine. If it wasn't included I would have gone elsewhere but there were plenty of selections. There is also a bar and evening restaurant but we did not eat there.

Our room was fine. Old style tv again. ..this is one of my gripes with Marriott. That and cheap white towels... why oh why. Our view was of several hvac units. We are gold members. I cannot help but wonder what our view would have been otherwise!

All in all well placed to the highway and town. Perfectly fine Courtyard experience.

“A Very Nice Hotel in Concord”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 July 2010

We were in town for a wedding and the hotels location next to the reception at the Grappone Center was perfect for us. The lobby is nice with a small front desk and a large breakfast area. There is a bar lounge area and a lovely garden at the back end of the lobby.
I had two rooms, a very large double (316) that over looked the garden and a small single (309 )with a view of the ample parking lot. Room sizes vary so if you need a large room ask. Our rooms were clean, quiet and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom has an outside sink and dressing area which I like and the shower was wonderful. The furniture and the TV are older and it looks like the rooms had been renovated a few years ago. The free WiFi in our room was strong and worked great.
The staff was excellent, friendly and attentive. There is complimentary coffee, tea, ice tea service available and they served warm chocolate chip cookies at the front desk. They have a snack bar where you can buy drinks and sandwiches.
The bar is open on the weekend until 10:30 and they have a breakfast and light dinner service available. There is a small pool, hot tub and exercise area that some of our party used and enjoyed. Overall we had a great experience at this hotel.

“Extra Nice!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 May 2010

Stayed at the Courtyard in Concord, N.H. for two nights. Had a wonderful room that was clean, bigger than normal, and a comfy bed. Had no regrets staying here. Would stay again without a doubt! :)
