This is the best option in Claremont. It is clean, the price is good, and the rooms are getting better as I note improvements each time we visit. The only real problem is noise from rooms on each side - the walls do not provide good soundproofing.

Having lived in this area all our lives we had never really needed a place to stay as we could always go to a family member's home or a friend's house, however when our furnace gave out my husband and I needed a warm place to stay in a pinch late late one night.
Rumors have always blown around about this motel, however we never expected them to be true. This place is dingy, the beds are horrible and ours smelled like human waste and there was so much noise coming from the streets both of us were a nervous wreck because we worried if someone might break in. The owner was friendly, but he was unresponsive when we complained except to say "he would look into things." Guess that's it. This place could be nice with some proper up-keep and if the place had new "clean" furniture.

Our overnight visit to Claremont included an interesting stay at the Claremont Motor Lodge. We knew it would be old by the name, but the choices were few. Old it was - though they said they had recently remodeled. I'm not sure which going out-of-business sale they acquired the furniture from - but it wasn't new!WE arrived and stood in the office waiting for someone to show up - when I began leaving they arrived to my disappointment and confirmed our reservation.The room next to us appeared to occupied by a permanent resident.The room was clean - however we don't plan to return. The Claremont Motor Lodge is not worth the money. That's it!
