We could not have picked a better place to have our wedding. We all had such a wonderful time. Michael and Carol were wonderful hosts. The rooms were very comfortable and romantic. The view of the mountains was breath taking. The breakfast Carol made was amazing and the photos Michael took captured our special day. Thank you for making our dream wedding come true and thank you for making our family feel so welcome. We would recommend the Bear Mountain Lodge to anyone who is looking for a romantic, intimate wedding or even just a wonderful place to stay. Michael and Carol made it so special and we will cherish the memory forever!! We can't wait to go back!!

We were looking for a place to stay for a weekend of skiing. I must say, we could not have picked a better place, it was PERFECT. Only a short 10-15 minute drive to Brenton Woods, and we were able to get discounted lift tickets from Michael! The lodge is beautiful and Michael and Carol were the best hosts. It has such a homey, comfortable feeling. The decor is great, very rustic but on an upscale level. We enjoyed our room so much, the beds were AMAZING! Carol made the most delicious breakfast, better than going out to a breakfast place. And Michael was there to greet us at the door whenever we arrived. Overall we had such a great time and can't wait to go back!

My fiance and i went to the lodge and we loved it so much we are going to have our wedding there! Michael was so welcoming from the moment we arrived until we left. Carol is an unbelievable cook. I'm gonna have to find out how to make those Orange flavored French toast. Great customer service all around. We will be back in may!

My fiancé (we got engaged nearby) and I stayed in the lodge for two nights at the end of our trip in New England and neither of us could think of a bad thing to say about our stay. Michael and Carol are the most hospitable people we have met and ran the lodge impeccably. The experience was outstanding and we are now thinking of returning on our honeymoon.
