“a terrific place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 February 2012

This inn represents the best of staying at a bed and breakfast. The inn keeper Mary is young, energetic and extremely friendly. The breakfasts are terrific. The beds are comfortable with high quality linens. This place isn't fusty. The building is from a time past with terrific history. The town of Bethlehem is really cute and its a great gateway to the white mountains.
We'd recommend this to anyone.

“A real find....a first class B&B in a very beautiful & historic house”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 January 2012

I have to admit that we don't usually stay in B & B's, but if we knew that they were all as good as the Mulburn Inn I think that we would change the habits of a lifetime!

We stayed here for one night at the end of the 'leaf peepers season' and were made very welcome by the owner, Mary from the minute we stepped into her beautiful house. Our room was tastefully furnished and the bed incredibly comfortable. We had dinner just a few doors away at Rosa Flamingos and when we returned Mary had lit a fire in the sitting room....very welcoming!

Highly recommend!

“Just the Best”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 December 2011

My family of 20 (10 adults and 10 childern) spent three nights here celebrating my 80th birthday. It was perfect. The innkeeper, Mary Moritz was so hospitable, and charming. Could not do enough for us. The property is historic and so well furnished and cared for.
Definitely 5-star.

“Exceptional Inn”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 October 2011

The Mulburn was the highlight of our trip- and one of the best B&B's we have ever stayed in!!! The Inn is very elegant and Mary is just the perfect host. She gets everything spot on- friendly and willing to engage in conversation without being in your face. Mary is keen to meet all your requests and goes out of her way to be a top class host who helps to create a mavellous atmosphere and rapport between all the guests. Breakfasts were delicious and 24 hour coffee and access to refrigerator beyond what most other B&Bs offers- nothing is too much trouble at The Mulburn. The Inn itself is exquisite, tastefully decorated in keeping with the period when the rich and famous stayed there.

All in all the best of our trip and Mary deserves to do well with her dream job as an Innkeeper.

Room Tip: Just take your pick - all that we saw, spoke about with others were good.

“Friendly, comfortable, and beautiful B and B”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 October 2011

Stayed two nights during the end of fall foliage season. Positive experience all around from the quick replies to emails to the easy check-out. Highlights include her obvious enthusiasm for the house and its history, the beautiful original stained glass windows, appropriate period decor without that overly frilly Victorian look, a small discount for a minor inconvenience for which she apologized profusely, delicious breakfast (stuffed french toast with sausage and mixed fruit one day and a ham and cheese quiche with a roll and asparagus with hollandaise sauce the next), a mini-fridge with yogurt, pop, water and a tea service/keurig available at all times, fresh baked cookies in the afternoon, restaurant recommendations and her offer to make reservations, clean shower and room with a really warm, comfortable bed. Quiet, easy parking, and easy to locate. Recommended wholeheartedly!
