We booked a four night stay last week for the leaf peeping season. The atmosphere of the BVI is perfect, very quaint, well decorated and very warm and welcoming. It was my wife and I and two other couples. We decided to leave the kids at home and all go to New Hampshire to relax. We stayed in the Woodbury Cottage, which was a perfect 4 bedroom house. We were able to stay together, drink wine infront of the fireplace, and socialize! We were told upon arrival that it is the oldest house in Bedford. The cottage had a very home like feel. New kitchen but origial woodfloors throughout most of the house, and a fireplace in the living room, We decided to eat in the Tavern the first night, which was more casual but excellent. Their pizzas are amazing. Breakfast was also very good, everything is very well made, and very unique. We never had to order/go elsewhere to eat as we originally planned. I definately recommend the Dining Room. Their steak and fish was prepared just as we requested and we were all very please. My wife and I are planning on coming back for a little Christmas vacation and can not wait to see what they do for the holidays!
