We recently attended a friends wedding reception at the Bedford Village Inn. The food, atmosphere, and service were fantastic. The wedding party accommodations were under the same roof which was convenient. The wedding ceremony was held in the grounds & gardens which were beautifully kept.

My husband and I went to Antique week in Manchester NH but did not want a big chain hotel- we opted again to stay at the Bedford Village Inn- it is our third visit there. they have perfected service!!! the room was large- a small kitchen area off the spacious living room- huge master bedroom with 2 closets- well appointed bathroom with separate vanity area! housekeeping did a wonderful job and also kept us stocked with bottled water and apples! The dining at the inn presents several options= an elegant dining room - a comfortable cosy tap room as well as outside patio dining amidst spectacular manicured gardens! We enjoyed room service for dinner one night and the service and food was beyond reproach! I would highly recommend this beautiful inn with friendly personalized service!

Our only disappointment was the unfriendly and unwelcoming demeanor of the woman employed in the little shop on the gorunds. The shop carries a variety of clothing and small accessories. It is open limited hours and I couldnt wait to take a peek! Upon entry this person never greeted us nor acknowleged our presence in any way- in fact while we were browsing she left the main room and went in the back and made a phone call- as we were leaving she said "good bye" No offer of any service was made- this is totally out of character as the entire staff at the inn was so gracious and helpful. I would not visit that store again.

I stayed on July 13th for a night to myself, for stress relief. I have to say, this place is definately the place to go for that! My room was very welcoming, I felt at home. King Size bed and Jacuzzi were a plus!
I ordered room service for dinner, it was fantastic.
I then went to Corks for a cocktail. Staff was very proffessional and attentive, but friendly at the same time.
Breakfast the next morning was also very good!

We came to the Bedford Inn for a computer conference in nearby Manchester. We didn't want to stay at a chain hotel, so thought this place might be fun at the recommendation of some of our NH friends (we are from Texas). The Bedford had all the conveniences and comforts of a big hotel (tavern, restaurant, gift shop) with the quaintness of a B&B, think complimentary cookies and milk and wine and cheese in the early evenings. Our room had a plush and comfy King bed, huge bathroom, and small kitchenette. I loved the turn-down in the evenings complete with choc-chip cookies. No the rooms aren't A+ new but yes they are huge and fabulous. All in all a fantastic experience!
