“Awesome views, comfy cabin”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 February 2012

We stayed in one of the 3 bedroom cabins because we wanted the space & a king sized bed We were very impressed when we first walked through the door. The fireplace & living room was nice & cozy. It has a full kitchen & dining table for 6. Though the table is a bit big for the space it was ok since we weren't planning on eating there.
The longer we were in the cabin the more we found that could have been better. Carpet was dirty. We found a spider & a web in the kitchen. When we were getting ready for bed the first night we found a spider in the pillow & then a long black hair when we pulled the covers down.
We were told housekeeping was done daily but on our 3rd day we had to actually ask for the service.
On the plus side the shower was awesome! There was plenty of hot water for a nice long shower. The heat in the cabin worked wonderfully! The fireplace was very relaxing. The views are awesome! And the staff is super friendly & helpful! The restaurant served the best breakfast. And great dinners! And did I say the staff was friendly!!!
Overall we loved our stay here. The location is great. And there is alot to do right on property (snow mobiles & cruising the lake...even in the winter). We would stay here again.

“Old Tahoe Cabins”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 January 2012

Our family has vacationed at Tahoe for the past 80 years. Zephyr Cove keeps that Old Tahoe feel alive and well. We've been staying here for the past few years and enjoy our visits as a family. Our only complaint is that the cabins are cleaned on the surface only and have needed a deep clean for over a year, carpets, blinds, and furnishings. We sit on blankets and wear socks around the cabins. The bedding is always clean and any dirty bedding has always been cleaned or replaced if asked. The food in the cafe is good, the remodeled store and gift shop is beautiful, and the view from the beach is breathtaking.

Room Tip: Stay away from the cabins along the highway 1,2,3 & 4.

“Great Camp Ground!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 October 2011

Being that after October 15th, all of the Forest Service Campground are closed, we were able to find a reasonably priced($16) camp ground in Zephyr Cove, NV.
The setting and scenery of the grounds is excellent. All of the facilities are clean and well maintained. Firewood is available. The fire pits were awesome.

The guy who checked us in(Sean) was fantastic with reservation, check-in, suggestions for beer and hospitality. He had a lot of personality and was exceptionally fun to chat with.

There are also RV sites, Tent sites and Walk-up sites.

Thanks again!

Room Tip: Like any campground, scout the sites to see what you like!

“Best RV resort at lake Tahoe”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 October 2011

Stayed here twice, July & Oct. The summer rate may be too high for some, but you have to consider the excellent location. Overall a great place to camp in one of the most beautiful spots in the USA.
The cabins are a lot of fun and right next to the beach. They have a rustic feel, are clean, and come in all sizes for a reasonable price
