I just returned from Wendover and had a great time as always. I love the food, the gambling, the town, the comps and the casinos are beautiful!
However, on this trip I had a lot of difficulty with my Passport card. Upon checking in, I was given a purple card. I thought this quite odd considering I was platinum on my last trip (just several weeks prior). I immediately went to the Passport booth at Montego Bay. The woman told me there was nothing she could do (even after pleading my case), and I'd have to contact the Manager that wasn't there (it was around 6:30pm, 12/27). I decided to head to Rainbow and see if I'd be better served. The woman there was EXTREMELY cordial and helpful. She gave me my platinum card without question. However, it wasn't until the last day my status actually upgraded in the system, so my gift shop points accrued at -purple level- most of the trip. Toward the end, I forgot my card in a machine and had to get a new one. This time I was given GOLD...lol From purple to platinum to gold all in one trip. I've had trouble before getting the free-play per the offer letter as well. So if any of you get a letter or email offering free-play, be sure to bring a copy of it, or they won't help you!
