“Fun, entertaining stay!”

Just a wonderful old house. And the work that has gone into restoring this house will amaize anyone.
The Inn Keepers know their local history and take you through a wonderful tale of Virginia City's existance. I don't want to disclose all the fun one will have at this B&B, but this place is a 'must stay' if you are going to be in the area for a day or two!
And elicious breakfasts served each morning with great care and enjoyment.

Room Tip: We stayed in the downstairs room. Decor was suited to it's 'name'. Great care was give...

“Beautiful Place To Get Married”

We got married Oct 2 2010 at the Cobb Mansion. It was so beautiful we just had to go back to Cobb on our first anniversary(just last week) and stay in the Harris room again. Paul and Jeff put so much heart into this place, these guys are so much darn fun. Paul and Jeff go above and far beyond what you would expect from a stay at a bed and breakfast. Not only is it absolutely elegant, the guests have so much fun just being there-from the tour of the mansion, to the breakfast they make from scratch and personally serve and eat with you in the gorgeous dining room, to loading everyone in one of the classic cars and driving them around town with a Virginia City history lesson. Last week we met a couple from London and a couple from Texas. OH, and you also get to watch Paul make his award winning salsa and he even gives you the recipe! Can't wait to see these guys on our second anniversary-maybe we'll see you too. Mike and Gloria from Reno

Room Tip: We love the Harris room, but they are all beautiful.

“The highlight of our business trip”

We were going to be in the area on business and decided to go a day early so we could go back to Virginia City. When I made the reservations for Cobb Mansion I had no idea how much fun we would have or how elegant the house was. The place is fabulous, comfortable and well located. Paul and Jeff are wonderful hosts who provided wine, conversation and laughter in the afternoon and a breakfast better than you will find in a restaurant in the morning. Unfortunately we couldn't do the town tour as business was waiting but it just gives us and excuse to go back.

“Beautiful!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 September 2011

The Cobb Mansion is just Beautiful. Paul is one of the owners. He gave us a guided tour of V.C. in his antique car and provided all the history anyone would want to know about this historical town. It was an unforgettable experience.

Room Tip: If you are limited on time and not interested in the history of V.C. don't go on the tour.

“It was a lot of fun!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 September 2011

Staying at the Cobb Mansion was a lot of fun and definitely the best way to see Virginia City. We stayed there for a weekend and got so much more out of our trip than we would have if we stayed anywhere else. We learned the history of the town, ate an amazing breakfast, got a tour of the beautiful house, and went on a hike we never would have known about if it weren't for Paul's tips about the area. Their restoration of the mansion is incredible. It is definitely worth the price to stay there.
