“Interesting review...”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 February 2012

AmberHair- it's interesting you feel the need to fabricate things being that your review is based on an ugly rumor and not facts. That might work for you on TripAdvisor, but not in the real world. You are obviously a friend of the rumor-starting "woman". Prior to posting this review, you checked the little box that says you "certify this review is based on your own experience... and that you have no personal or business relationship with this establishment..." Having said that, maybe next time you should check your facts or don't say anything at all.

“Beautiful and well taken care of!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 January 2012

My husband and I wanted to go to Tahoe for our anniversary and so I was looking up hotels in our price range. This one was perfect! We got a Friday and Saturday night stay in a hotel room for only $85/night through expedia.com. We got there and it was so fancy compared to other hotels in our price range! As soon as we checked in we felt very welcomed and taken care of. The room was great and had a beautiful view! We also enjoyed the DVD/VCR player in the room. The whole grounds has lots to do and there is even a shuttle that will take you into town - we took it to the casinos.
The only things we found we didn't like was the size of the TV (very small) and there was no complimentry shampoo or conditioner. But both things were very minor and in all we loved our stay here and would definately return!

Room Tip: Try to ask for a room with a view - we were given one (on the top floor) because there weren't m...

“best timeshare exchange in years”

Exchanged for this place at the last minute through Interval International and got one heck of deal. I was a bit apprenhensive because there can be a vast difference in quality in timeshares that aren't in my system and many times last minute ones are available for a reason. I was pleasantly surprized on arrival. I was in a two bedroom lock-off in the first building going up the hill ( sorry don't rember the name of the building) and felt a little guilty in a having such a huge unit to myself for the first part of the week..( like I said it was last minute ). From the king size sleep number beds in each bedroom(which didn't know about till the fifth nite when my daughter joined me) to the Jaccuzzi tubs in each bath everything was top notch. Three flatscreen tv's, granite counter tops real nice jennair cooktop, probably twenty nice towels plenty of nice pillows the list goes on. Access might be tough in a snow storm ( being up on a steep drive) but I imagine they a pretty good at keeping the roads clear (i saw the had plently of equipment on site to do so). I would stay here again in a heartbeat and probably will later this season.

Room Tip: first building going up the hill, it has enclosed stairway down to heavenly's stagecoach parkin...

“Awful mouth at front desk.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 January 2012

Upon leaving the spa, the front desk clerk Sara clearly had a problem with a woman in the lobby area whom had children with her. I witnessed her yell across the room profanities. This is very inapropriate for such a high standing establishment. I was uncomfortable standing there as this woman disrespected not only that woman, but me as well. As a part time local who has pride in my stays, I will not be able to give this place my best review.

“Great Resort near Heavanly Ski Resort”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 January 2012

We have stayed here several times over the last few years. This review is for the Ridge Resort Tower. We stayed here for 10days over the Xmas/NY's.

We got a one bedroom condominium suite that was newly remodeled and spacious. The kitchen was huge with large granite counter tops, range top with grill and new oven. The living room was very large with beautiful views of Heavenly. The bedroom had a Select Comfort King which was awesome. I told my wife if we had an apartment like this I would be very happy.

The onsite restaurant has weird hours and they change during the season so call ahead or bring a couple of nights worth of food to make at home.

Customer Service was friendly, but I think they need better training. I was told different things by different cs reps. All in all a great stay.
