“Good business hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 October 2011

Located just off the highway close to the airport. Front desk staff were very helpful and we were able to check in early from our east coast flight. Nice happy hour events on most days. Rooms were very spacious as with most Residence Inns. Nice self-serve breakfasts. Try not to get a room facing the rear of the property, the highway noise is a little disturbing especially if you are still trying to adapt to Pacific time from East Coast time.

Room Tip: Avoid rooms that face the rear of the property - highway noise.

“A little out of the way from casinos”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 October 2011

I bid on Priceline and this was the place I got by selecting both Reno and Reno South area. Good deal. It was a busy weekend in Reno and my favorite casino was booked. Other casinos' rooms were overpriced. This hotel is about 5 miles south of the airport. It is about a 10 minute drive south of the Eldorado Casino area. It is a few miles south of Atlantis and Peppermill off South Virginia St. Front desk older gentleman named Daniel was extremely pleasant and accomodating. The room was a studio. Ice maker in freezer makes noise through the night, but didn't bother me as I sleep with earplugs. Also, as you probably know, you can set it to not make ice. Room was quiet outside of the noise that most refrigerators make. Definitely felt safe here. Easy parking. The breakfast was satisfying, but certainly don't expect a breakfast buffet similar to one you would pay for at a casino. They have both ceramic and styrofoam plates and plastic forks and spoons. Sure wish they would replace the styrofoam with paper products. Room would have made for a nice studio apartment. I myself would have preferred staying at a reputable casino hotel in the heart of the action. Therefore, I should have only selected Reno (area #1), not Reno South (area #2) when I bid on Priceline. I

“Nice place to stay if you have an early flight”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 September 2011

I stayed here the night before my early flight the next morning. It is a typical Residence Inn by Marriott. The front desk staff was very friendly. Property is clean. Free, on-property parking. The airport is maybe 10 minutes away, and there is a gas station by the hotel to fill up that rental car. It is right off the highway, which makes it easy, too.

“Great place to stay if you don't like Casinos”

I've stayed at this Residence Inn on three different occasions, for business and pleasure. The rooms are clean and smell fresh. They serve a good quality, all you can eat breakfast that is included in the price of the room. The clerks are warm and friendly. The clerks are also very helpful about providing information of the sites to see in Reno area. They also provide free shuttle service to and from the airport.

“Great location/amenities”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 September 2011

We stayed here on a free night stay from our Credit Card. The amenities were nice, 1 bedroom suite, room 319. No real noise to speak of, the room was fully functional and comfortable. The free breakfast was top notch as usual for the Marriott chains. Lastly, the service was impeccable.

I went down to ask for a blanket at the front desk, by the time i got back to the room, my wife asked me why someone else brought a blanket back. The desk told me it would take a while (10 mins, is nothing), it didn't, that's what I call service!

Room Tip: A high floor courtyard room provided excellent sleeping arrangements.
