I had to evacuate from my home during a huge wildfire here in Reno and needed a place to stay that would let me bring my dog and cat. A friend told me about La Quinta and I was lucky to get a room. The desk guy (wish I'd gotten his name because he was very professional and friendly) got me checked in right away with directions to my room and the pet relief area and told me about breakfast. Room was basic but very clean, with a flat screen TV and the bed was really comfortable (not that hard little slab that you sometimes get with bargain hotels. It cost me $59. Not the quietest place ever (I always travel with earplugs) between the freeway and the other evacuees and pets but a great port in the storm.
