I travel to Reno frequently and have always stayed at one of the large casino hotels. On this trip I decided to find something quieter and stayed at the Quality Inn South Reno. The staff was very friendly, and the rooms were adequate. I was on a one night business trip, so it met my needs. However, I wouldn't bring a family here. The rooms look quite old, and have the feeling of being in a trailer. The heater was loud, and the "dial" that controlled it wasn't market, so it was a challenge to get the room comfortable. All in all a fine place to stay for a night, but nothing better than average.

You know, this place from the outside is really cool! It has a great court yard, beautiful trees, nice windows and sliding glass doors onto a nice patio. That is the good part and because of this feel this motel needs saving! And they take pets! But, and there is a big but. The inside is old, ratty, tired...They need new beds, bedding, towels, and a remodel job. Flat screen TVs....The breakfast sucked! The guy in front of me got his waffle stuck in the waffle iron. With some upgrades this place has the potentil to be a real find!

Price is good Bed comfortable & TV good, the place looks like it should have been remodeled 15 years ago, cleaning crew does a poor job my rooms coffee pot still had old coffee filter with used coffee in it

We stayed in a Quality Inn In Salt Lake at the airport that was much nicer than this one in Reno. The Reno Quality it really run down. Grafitti on the Quality Inn sign. At breakfast this morning there was hardly anything to eat. When I asked the desk clerk if they had any more yogurt he said "no, we're all out, someone took about 15 of them for the road." No internet access either. Never staying there again.
