The signage is hard to see from S. Virginia Street, but once you find the hotel, everything is hunky-dory. Check-in was a breeze with a charming and courteous night desk clerk, the room was clean and very comfortable, and the restaurant staff was cheerful and super helpful - they didn't have my favorite Earl Grey tea on my first morning, but bought some so I'd have it the rest of my stay! I also appreciated the free self-parking and free Wi-Fi. Overall, I give it high marks.

A little hard to find-it's tucked into a corner of a shopping plaza and you can't spot it from the road (GPS couldn't even find the correct turn-off). But that can also be a plus. It's quiet and away from high traffic. The room was directly across from the stairs but we never heard a peep. Very clean and the beds/bedding were especially comfortable. The pool is SUPER small - our 10 yr old who never misses a chance to go swimming quickly declined after seeing the chaos and 'coziness' w/ just 3 or so using it. It was great to have a Starbucks w'in walking distance. We would certainly consider them again if we're in Reno.

My oldest granddaughter & I went to the Parelli "Wild Mustang Taming" event this past weekend and stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott in Reno (off Hwy 395 at Neil Rd). It was very nice, clean and the staff was very friendly & helpful/accommodating. I was able to change the room the day before we arrived (originally my husband was supposed to be going with me and we had set up for a King bed and I needed it changed to 2 queens).
It was comfortable and quiet and we had a lovely view of the hills behind us. An enjoyable experience and I would definitely consider them again next time I'm in the area.

The Courtyard by Marriott Reno provided us with a very safe, clean and hospitable stay. The staff greeted us with gusto and allowed us to check in early.

The location is ideal...not far from downtown with a variety of small retailers like Starbucks in walking distance.
