Excellent staff, very friendly casino dealers who can go extra miles to make you part of the game and teach you while you play...I am impressed. My wife and I were pretty new to Blackjack and dealers (even we rem their names :) Amanda and Nancy) helped us so well in getting our basics right and we enjoyed the game for almost next 4-5 hours. Excellent is the understatement here specially when you look at the other options in Reno.

Probably most places in Reno allow smoking but I do not enjoy soaking in clouds of cigarette smoke from the casino while I am standing in line to check in. To access any of the public buildings you must walk through open areas filled with cigarette smoke. Really disgusting and my clothes still smell from it. Otherwise, the restaurants are nice, good quality food and good service, the room was large, inexpensive, and well appointed with free wifi, but if you are sensitive to smoke I would try somewhere not associated with a casino.

just got back from the Atlantis in Reno for girls spa week-end, as always had a great time. The spa has been reopened a little over 2 years and is one of the best I have ever been to. The prices are also really good. While at the Atlantis be sure to try out their great restuarants. We go twice a year and are planning our next trip there

I stayed at Atlantis- Reno for 4 nights in Feb 2012. I paid around $500 for a stay on the 3rd floor (spa floor). I was told it would cost an additional $7.50 to use the cardio equipment on this floor. That is ridiculous!

The room was nice. Comfortable bed, quiet A/C, quiet floor. Decent view of Reno and mountains. If you're attending a convention, the skybridge access is certainly a good thing. Casino is average I suppose. No experience with other casinos in Reno so I can't rate it locally. But Vegas Strip is much much better.

Food is second rate and overpriced. I tried both high end and low end restaurants. Bistro Napa, Cafe Alfresco, the Oyster Bar, the buffet. Menus were basically what I would expect from a big casino hotel, but the quality lags behind the price.

Other than the additional charge for using the workout facility and the mediocre food, you're getting what you pay for. But the workout equipment charge does me in. I will find other accommodations next time I come to Reno.
