“Closest hotel to Livestock center, have stayed 3 times”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 January 2012

This was our third time staying at the Remada. The rooms are always clean. The staff are always helpful. We like the $2 blackjack tables and the dealers are friendly and like to joke around with us. It is a 10 min walk to the Livestock center. Lots of parking. Not the nicest hotel by any means but comfortable and convenient. Quick cab ride to any of the other casinos...

Room Tip: If the Street Vibrations is on, there are no quiet rooms...also a train goes by in the middle of the...

“Last Minute New Year's Eve lodging”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 January 2012

We decided to go to Reno and knew we probably get something over-priced and maybe not to good. The price was a bit higher than our first choice, but they included 4 breakfast buffets. The buffet was good with hot oatmeal, eggs, potatoes, sausage, bacon, cold cereal, etc. etc. The room was quiet and we had a great view of the Reno skyline. If we decided to stay in we could have probably seen the fireworks from our window. Staff was friendly and maid immediately came up with the extra towels we had requested. We were very satisfied with the stay. We don't gamble - so no comment on casino.

Room Tip: Get a room that faces west for a view of Reno skyline.

“Pleasantly Surprised”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 October 2011

The room was extremely clean - could tell the sheets and the comforter were both laundered. The Wi-Fi connection is easy to use and dependable. I was there for 2 weeks and was given coupons for breakfast every day at the hotel's restaurant, up to $8. The front desk also provided a sheet of coupons daily for a free drink in the casino or at the bar or discounts off of meals. The casino restaurant (NOT the hotel restaurant) was your typical "greasy spoon" with good (except for the burger), cheap food but suspect the dietary value was minimal! There is only one restaurant close (about a block away) but they have good food with good prices. There is a gas station a block away and a convenience/liquor store across the street. Other than that there is not much around the hotel. It was walking distance to downtown (about a 25 minute walk) but would not advise it after dark. It is not in the nicest of neighborhoods but there is not a lot of rif-raf out either. The fitness center only has cardio equipment but was very available for use. There is one washer and one dryer next to the fitness center ($1 for each). The pool, fitness center and laundry are all on the 2nd floor in the hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful. The shuttle service is wonderful as well - you can take it downtown or to the college or the airport. there is a community computer in the lobby with a printer attached, but no business center. Overall, I would definitely recommend it and stay there again.

“NICE ROOM, BUT BAD AREA”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 September 2011

Found a coupon for this hotel in a travel magazine for a very reasonable price. The rooms are very nice and clean, and comfortable. we had a king bed and the room was big enough for a couch. However off the property isn't the best of places. If you want to go to the casinos, take a taxi. The parking lot is well lit at night.

“Good place to stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 September 2011

Good place, nice staff, they are friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable, clean and nice. but though we stayed in a non-smoking room, we sensed the smoke in the pathway. It's not far from Reno strips, in this small city. I would check-in again.
